Looking better here.

The flash is doing this some favors here, but at least we can see the eyes are rolling to the back of his head.

Hopeful but not confident on this one. The head looks good here but we can all pretty much bet the house on what's going to happen, and the outfit looks like a step back from HT's

I've never seen flash improving the look of a headsculpt, usually makes them look like a Ken doll. So 'if' this is the head under flash photography conditions, it bodes extremely well to me.

Probably won't see any til December! I'm really hoping it's not delayed, either. I'm counting on it as a Christmas present from my wife! ;)

NO it doesnt. This prototype was painted by the famous customized LALA. Theres is NO WAY, SST's final sculpt apps will look like this.... and from what we have seen in the past, there is no evidence that SST will come through with the paint apps at final release..

Yes, yes we all know this, it's been mentioned many times in this thread already. My point was about the comment regarding flash photography improving the look of the head, not the final factory paint job that we all know won't be of the proto quality.

Every now and then, Sideshow nails a figure. I still think Henry is one of their best. I'm keeping my order for this in support of more 1:6 Indy figures. I want Mola Ram next!

Mola Ram would be awesome - very cool looking character. But I guess they'll wait to see how many people need a villain to stand next to their TOD Indy first.

I would be really torn if SS decided to make a Mola Ram. I have all the figures SS released for their Indy line, but that was back when they were all sub $100. I'm getting this Indy, no doubt. But I don't know if I can spend $200+ for him, or any other secondary character for that matter. I guess it will really depend on what else would be coming out at the same time.

Damn these high prices! :gah:

He really is. One of the best 1/6 sculptors of all time. Hands down. Spooky-good, really.

I personally wouldn't buy a Short Round figure, as I'm not a fan of the character, but it would be great if they did make him for everybody who wants him.

I'm really hoping this ToD Indy represents the "resurrection of the line," and not a "fitting send-off."

A Short Round wouldn't be top of my want list, but it would be great to see this sculpt realised as part of a full figure.

Mola, short and a minecart!

Best,

Robert

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the mine cart was actually purchased by SSC from a board member on here. Hopefully if SSC doesn't produce/release it, maybe it'll be made available privately some day.

Was that a one-off custom?

Yes.:gah:

I think I read that on Trevor's blog. I've never seen the fig painted/finished. It was probably made for the actor himself.

Really hope Sideshow releases Mola and especially ShortRound after seeing what Trevor has sculpted.

I would even have preferred these 2 instead of this Indy.
