Thanks for posting those, Aliaz! :duff

I still hate those ties in the back, but these look great. I'm gonna order a set and decide whether I keep both or one after I have them in hand.

I'm starting to realize that prototype pictures are not to be trusted. The new production pics show a far more inferior product. Another dissapointment, WTH! Thanks for sharing Aliaz.

They included stands sort of. :lol

Interesting, why do you find the new pics show an inferior product?

I think they look pretty good. My only thing is I wish the robes were a bit more weathered. They look fairly clean but that's not a deal breaker. Plus I already paid the NRD and one flex payment so I won't be cancelling. I'd possibly be down for splitting a set with someone. I don't really care which one I'd get.

I like them but need to shop around a bit on these I guess. The price + over $30 for shipping to me is keeping me from ordering from SS at the moment. Maybe with people selling I can pick up loose ones here and there as I would like quite a few of these guys...:slap

The one downside is that unless you get them secondhand Sideshow is the only option for these guys. They're exclusive and not being sold elsewhere.

I would like to split a set. Just PM me when you get them in hand. I would prefer the smaller one if you don't have a preference.

The material used for the cloaks is clearly differnt than what was shown in prototype pics. They look really cheap.

Well that explains why I have not found any retailers selling them. Guess second hand is the only way..... it just sucks as I wanted a bunch of these guys. Hope they stick around a bit... maybe SS will have a shipping deal or discount later on. :dunno

They look nice! As for weathering, best to do it yourself and not Sideshow. :lol
I'm just always a bit hesitant about doing it myself. I always worry I'll mess something up and then be unhappy with it so I just leave my figures as they are.

The final material is a jersey knit (like t-shirts) - it has visible vertical ribs. The original costume material was a coarse twill weave (like denim jeans) - it has visible diagonal ribs. The Jersey is a much better match to the Twill from the original costume at this scale, the only negative is that the fabric doesn't appear to have been cut diagonally to mimic the original weave.

Dang, that is some analysis. You all are like professionals. Thanks for the feedback. It just doesn't look as good to me, that's all.

I think the hoods... Especially the "small" hood looks better in the new photos.
