Yeah dude. According to my dealer, they really want to make this work out. He said the warehouse is closed today, but they are going to go over the next one with a fine toothed comb and send it out first thing on Monday.

Their CS is, and has always been, top notch. If only the QC was just as above-and-beyond...

I hear ya... Sadly, sometimes these bizarre pieces slip through and get shipped.
The quality product is there. Unfortunately, the quality employee might not always be.
I would think we've all received a piece which made us scratch our heads in bewilderment.

My last two pieces direct from SS were the Evil Queen PF and the Man-Thing comiquette. Both are absolutely stunning. Sometimes you just strike out, I suppose.

Unbelievable it is still possible to get it on the wait list..
But I doubt to buy this cool statue(!), when the price is so spicy and there is also the freight to Denmark. And let us not forget the VAT and tax! Damn...

i picked mine up at my local store which had 4 pieces in stock , lucky me that i could check my piece before buying because i had to open 3 boxes before founding an almost perfect one ,it's a real shame because every piece that comes with such a high price should be in perfect condition

I got my second replacement the other day. What a disappointment.

This one has no problems in the major areas of concern: the mouth has no broken teeth and both toes are there, and not broken off and painted over.

However, this one has a small paint chip on one of the knees and a larger area of chipped/scraped paint where the body meets the tail, as if someone really forced the tail in there and broke off a tiny part before sending it to me.

This is definitely the Sideshow piece I am MOST disappointed with, ever. I'm not trying to get another replacement because I'm sure they're all messed up in one way or another. I just think it sucks that some recent figures, like Man-Thing or the Evil Queen, could arrive and blow you out of the water, and that other figures just seem destined for failure.

Many of us justified the price of this piece based on the edition size (which was raised secretly) and the fact that it has a lot of small parts and detail, resulting in increased QC (which simply isn't the case; as it seems like they took the extra cash and kept their QC the same or worse). I get the feeling that because this piece I just got was a second replacement, they probably went through a couple looking for one with the least amount of damage, and this is what they ended up choosing. I'm certainly going to think long and hard before ordering another piece this detailed and expensive.
