Have to agree about the buttons... its a small thing, but for the price they are asking an accurate outfit is necessary.

Side by side the figure does look pretty good... but the outfit on the real deal does seem to fit a lot better. Might look pretty good with some futzing, but that pricetag is just too hard to get my head around.

Yes. We need buttons.

Wow. Looks good but at that price is an easy pass. Try to justify it all you want the reality is when you have a figure as simplistic as this, literally the Nodes could have been done at the beginning of the line then I fear what the costs will be on more complex figures in the future.

I wouldn't complain if Sideshow throws in extra stuff at $100. A special base or something.

At $100, this is too plain a figure. Not to forget for those getting 5-7 figures, it really does make quite a difference.

It'll be interesting to see the specs on this guy (what he comes with - 1 or all instruments) or just one figure with a single instrument. What's the exclusive? That poster ala Greedo and the Han one?

And wow...$100. for this guy. No buttons - weird hands (that look more like unattached gloves than hands)

Could be a pass....we'll see.

Not really seeing that.

Other than the price, the only problem is the wrist joint and the guy who painted it just said that he did forearms for them.

If the forearms are fixed then that's one thing. There's still the issue with sleeves being too short, the inaccurate outfit and the price. Now if more items are included like all the instruments then the price is warranted. I don't understand why SS didn't tell us of what comes or doesn't come with the figure.

They have this pic in here as Figrin D'an, but it's actually Ickabel G'ont with his Fanfar. Could also be Tedn Dahai who also plays the Fanfar. I don't know which. They all look alike to me.

Nice work, SS....and I'm curious to see if those forearms you painted end up being utilized on the prod version.

And it bears repeating...I'm sitting here staring at this amazing Cmdr. Cody figure that just bursts out of the box with amazing detail, accessories and all sorts of awesome for $125 and then I look at this and am stunned that this almost basic figure is $100! Gotta see what he comes with....

We'll know tomorrow. It is kinda weird that they didn't spell it all out yesterday though. They usually do.

The days of 50 dollar figures are long gone. People need to stop living in a pipedream. The price of oil/gas/perto has almost tripled in the past 10 years, Chinese workers no longer work for 10 cents an hour, their salaries have gone up 200% in the same time frame. Shipping costs over the ocean have shot through the roof....ground shipping costs have also soared. Everyone involved at Sideshow I'm sure have also seen their salaries raised in the past 10 years. EVERYTHING is more expensive now. The sooner people get it around their heads that Sideshow can't charge 30 bucks for a figure and make money the happier they will be.

Sorry your wrong on part of this, the ocean freight is absolute peanuts now, possibly the cheapest lane globally - Far East to LA/LB. The ocean transport costs per item is not even 1$.

Over the amount of units they produce there production costs have not gone up that much, they are simply trying to make more margin.

Some of you live in Cali and most know the tax structures on business, has that gone up over the last few years?

A base that plays the cantina tune would be good for me...
