I am out! No way I am paying 100 dollars for this guy. I love Star Wars and he looks great in the pics but he seems a bit on the simple side and not worth that kind of money. NOw what does this mean for the folks who are wanting the complete band? Holy smokes!!!

I've never been terribly interested in the band members and I really can't see dropping 100+ for such a bare bones figure so this isn't even under consideration. I also have to play catch up with Greedo and Hammerhead anyway so this becomes a really easy pass.
On a side note, I'm sure a band member or two will end up on the GC list, and I can see shelling out 49.99 for one at some point down the road.

I still have to get Hammerhead too. No way this could be a priority with him on the list, and if a Walrusman turns up, the Bith don't have a chance.

Big price shocker for me too. I'd like to have the whole band but not at $100 a pop.
It seems to me from what is says in the newsletter, "be sure to keep an eye on our newsletter for updates on WHERE and when you can order the rest of the Bith Band members" that other Bith may be "Retailer exclusives" like they did with the Sandtrooper.

Yeesh, you might be right and that would just put the final nail in the coffin for me... retailer exclusives have a much lower chance of ever getting discounted.

new strategy for SSC, justify the overpricing to retailers by telling them they're "exclusive" when really its the same figure just different accessories. now someone who wants them all is forced to give their credit card info and subject themselves to email marketing from different retailers forever. right on!

I would feel better if they raised the price on Figrin D'an and he came with the seat and all the instruments, then they could offer a "bare bones" band member for a lower price. I know it's just wishful thinking on my part and may not have actually been doable 
but then Sideshow could at least have the Flexpay option on Figrin D'an and Flexpay works alot better for someone like me who doesn't have alot of expendable cash. Remember when Jabba came out and he only cost $120?

You know, I was looking at comparison pics a few pages back about the 2 buttons on the shirt and I spotted another problem SSC missed. If you look closely at the movie pic the shoulders are padded, you can tell because they are so square. When looking at the two pics side by side it is really obvious that SSC didn't pad the shoulders.
Also, I didn't buy one today and decided like most every body else to wait and try to get one on the cheap.

That makes zero sense to me. You'd be putting people that only wanted 1 in a position where either they overpay for instruments they don't want or purchase a figure that has none at all.
For those that want all, what would it matter whether one figure was $150 and the other 5 $90 vs $100 for each. In either case, I hope to see the outrage of this price continue for a long time. This is an absolute insult to charge $100 for the simplest figure.

Ordered. This figure rocks! Sideshow stepped up again on this figure (based on the proto shots). Looking forward to getting all seven of the band members.
I am going to wait to get my second Figrin Dan, though. I am tired of Sideshow not shipping them in the individual boxes. And judging by all the hate in this thread, I think I will be safe waiting until after the first one ships to me to order the second one.

That was and still is a rip-off for a hollow molded statue.
