This figure is reminiscent of Steve Jobs.

I am not ahting on him. I never thought they were that cool I want one but not at that price. I guess I was kind of foolishly hoping Sideshow was gonna do the opposite and get these out for cheaper than normal so people could buy multiples. But really in comparison to great figures like Greedo and Hammerhead this guy does not compare. Also as mentioned if Walrusman came along the modal nodes would be dusted. Also what is up with Sideshow censoring any slight criticism on their site. I see nothing offensive with Blue Leader's comment "$100 OUCH!" It is the truth, that price hurts.

Bith boots, people! It comes with Bith boots!!

bought......................:yess:

i was initially passing but the bith boots are a must have..................:lecture

bith boots FTMFW..................:blissy

Two years from now they'll be giving these away as "gifts".

Anyway, it is a nice sculpt -- both head and hands. I'll definitely get this a year or so from now for $50.

That makes zero sense to me. You'd be putting people that only wanted 1 in a position where either they overpay for instruments they don't want or purchase a figure that has none at all. :lol For those that want all, what would it matter whether one figure was $150 and the other 5 $90 vs $100 for each. :dunno

In either case, I hope to see the outrage of this price continue for a long time. This is an absolute insult to charge $100 for the simplest figure.

That's why I said it might be wishful thinking on my part and maybe not doable. But if the Figrin D'an figure came with the other instruments and the seat you could display him as any of the band members that you wanted to, maybe switch him out every now and then if you could only afford one or just wanted to buy a single figure due to space issues. If it still doesn't make sense to you ProgMatinee it's probably because it's not what would work best for you or the way you would to have liked to have seen it done. Either way, it was just one idea of something that might have worked for me and maybe some others. It's just that at $100 a pop it's way to hard to justify getting the follow-up figures to put together the entire band. Also, that would take up alot of space :horror and I don't know if the band is worth that much space, unlike my Jabba on his throne.

Yep, agreed, let me know when they sell for $50 or gift them, I'll grab one too.:wave

I don't "hate" the figure either, it looks cool, I'd just rather not pay $100 for it.

This figure just isn't interesting enough for me. And at a 100 bucks it not likely to change.
And seems to indicate a scary change in ss pricing

I would have done it for $75.

That's more in line with what I was expecting given that Lando was $79.99 just a year ago. I just don't understand how a clone sergeant that we ordered just 4 short months ago is $10 less than a big-headed, oboe playing alien...

And he had tons of hands, extra feet, and weapons. This has only the basics.

That was and still is a rip-off for a hollow molded statue.

That said, if he came out today Sideshow would charge $200 at least.

TBH I've never felt ripped off by Jabba... it was a lot of scratch, but he was incredibly well done in terms of sculpt and paint and I've never once regretted paying retail for the whole shebang when it was first offered.

Last of the completists. :rock

You feeling better?

Yes I'm doing better , thanks for asking Mike! I'm no longer a completest , I passed on the Black Hole Stormtrooper , Han in Carbonight, the two Cantina Evironments , Gartog , the Jabba Arch,
Yoda Hut , and Boil and Waxer.

I have Bly and Freakin' Dan on order and may order the SDCC Clone Commander but my finances will dictate which ones I'll keep. Definatly getting Bly though.

Me neither. For me Jabba and the throne was the first "big" purchase I made and I still feel the set ranks up there with a $300 PF in terms of coolness.
