Agreed, they got the color right... blacks also aren't 100% black either, again due to it being make-up on skin.

Really hope this survives production as it looks to be the beste 1/6 Maul by far and I really can't see anything (so far) that would need a tweak. And I still hope we see a 2nd head.

Part of that could be the lighting tho.. if you check out the orange tones on the AT-AT driver..

But where's all the robing/dress? He's missing some layers there.

Sideshow hasn't been putting out any extra accessories lately... just one pose for the figure. So, I'm guessing there will be more, just hard to say how much.

Not his cloak, his extra skirt. Seems he's missing a layer. Maulfan is the expert.

This and the AT-AT driver are top notch. Can't get over how great they look.

It's all there, they just have the order of the front layers off, there's the big middle piece under it all, then you have 3 layers of different lengths and widths on each side, and the back should be 2 large layers.

Only thing I can say, is I have yet to see a company get his robes to have that little extra bit rolling over his belt, it wasn't a perfect fit on him and I actually really like the small touch. I was able to somewhat get it with the old Sideshow Maul but the cloth was very rigid, this one looks easier to work with and there may even be wires to pose it.

Hoping someone takes a hi-def close up of that sculpt. So far it looks killer.

Looking great, almost looks like the eyes are Hot Toys PERS, the reflection of light and the look around the lids just seems like there's eyes inside the head not sculpted. His height also seems fine, guess the perspective in that one shot was very skewed.

I'm glad they're putting the effort into this they learned from making Clone headsculpts. It's really gonna pay off for other figures.

Looks good. Will get this one. Like my Medicom maul 2.0, but this is one of my favorite characters. SSC does a good job with aliens. Just not humans.

I'd always liked the Medicom Maul. He's always been a favorite so I'll definitely get this. I wonder if he'll have his hooded robe too.

Medicom Maul had a great head and the costume was nice, but the body was so skinny he just never looked right overall.

I have no idea, I haven't bought an SS figure that required a stand in a long, long time. Those look pretty fancy to be in the box.


I love the intensity of the sculpt. And the real leather belt.
