There's some good shots of Maul over at RS....close-up of the face...and it's excellent. The definition on the horns and the eyes are fantastic.

That face is definitely Maul personified, and I'm really pleased with the tattoo pattern. His makeup varies throughout the movie, as expected with such an intricate makeup pattern being repeated, but what they went with is in line with my ideal style.

Same. that proto is one of their best ever. Paint and sculpt are masterful.......but let's see what happens when it hits mass production.

Well, in typical Sideshow fashion his tats are sculpted so it should be somewhat paint by numbers, the quality of the eyes and horns are the only area to really drop off in quality.

Good points; this is looking like a rare humanoid SSC figure I'll get......thank goodness SSC ditched the separate eye system....that would have been a huge fail here
