Got the hasbro cloak for 6 dollars. It looks fine, but gotta futz the hood better.

Though I too was tempted I think it's a silly maneuver to cover up what is a surprisingly really good 200 plus sideshow figure with a 6 dollar robe when all you see sitting on your shelf is a hasbro thing really.

What I'm saying is the robe is important and we all seem to realize that and we are all equally pissed sideshow didn't include one but that's where we are right now.

This is the only sideshow figure I'd ever comfortably think about displaying beside my Hot Toys.

So at this point we need to figure out what to do about this robe. I wish there was some one who could be commissioned to do one.

The robes underneath are surprisingly good once the wires are removed. I'd want a high caliber outer robe to match. Problem is other than Yunsil I don't there there is comissionable tailor out there who has the chops. Sorry to say.

Tony meis I'd say for sure could do it but he seems to be more or less out of the game these days.

But a yunsil run for just a robe would never fly. Plus we would get it in 2037.

The hasbro cloak is actually of suprising quality. It's just nice to have more display options.

I've had Hasbro, Sideshow and Medicom robes, and overall, very little separates them in quality. The biggest difference between them has been the hood, Hasbro's tailoring makes for some odd shapes when you try to put it up in a film accurate manner, Sideshow's is too small, and Medicom got it just right, but used an oddly shiny material in the body of the robe which makes the Sideshow and Hasbro robes have a slight edge for the overall costume looking more accurate.

yeah medicom is the best. i wonder if a little black acrylic water wash over that shine would fix it. i have it but dont mind the shine enough to try it lol

Hi guyz.

Can anybody owning this figure comment on the body's qualities?

Has anybody attempted to mod the boots to make them more flexible? Is that even possible?

Thanks,
m.

Just ordered this figure with the $50 coupon. Can't wait to finally have him!

After seeing this dude in person at Disneyland, I decided I absolutely have to have it. Headsculpt alone makes the purchase worth it for me.

Mine just showed up today and I love it! I plan on using the medi robe and want to see if i can use the "folded arms" medi hands on him too. I lucked out and got straight saber blades, but the legs are a little loose on the body. I can live with that though since I use stands anyway.

What's the problem with lightsaber blades? If they are not straight rith out of the box, can't they be fixed?
Thanks,
m.

My blades were all kinds of wonky no matter how they were fitted; heating/bending them wouldn't have helped...the hilt was the problem because the holes were drilled/molded crooked. I fixed the problem by properly drilling out both sides and fitting the plug-in side of the blades with a small section of styrene tubing, allowing them to fit snugly into the newly drilled holes. The mod is totally hidden and looks proper...was easy too.

Cool..pretty weak exclusive. Debating between this and Death Star Gunner with my $50 off coupon. To date I have NO prequel so it might be an odd ball. Have original trilogy, Force Awakens and Rogue One. All empire.

What's the best method to remove the wires in his clothing?
-Disregard. I'm just using a mechanical pencil and threading the wires out through the seams

Hi people.
Can anybody tell me just what kind of boots Naboo Maul's ones are?
Are they hollow, or articulated? If the latter,a re they HT compatible or just Sideshow Prometheus compatible?
Thanks guys.
Regards,
m.
