I'm not so bothered at owning the medicom version. I actually saw a body swap with it, and it looked very good.
Although this sculpt looks very good (and I want one), I almost still think the medicom one looks better. But I still want this one haha.

agreed jedijim! i played around with the pieces of the ss v 1 clothes, naboo clothes, and ultimately settled on a combo of the naboo parts and the hasbro outer robe . i really wanted to make him a little stockier and his clothes bigger and baggier. i know this wont be everyones cup of tea. i liked the longer clothes and untucked his boots so they too werent so neat and trim looking. the inner tunic from ssv 1 is alot more accurate. he looked great with the ssv1 outer tunic as well. but i think im keeping him like this

So while I'm in limbo with sideshow support, I've tried to heat and reset the front horn on my Maul a number of times, and each time it seems to work, but within twenty minutes, the horn is back to being bent. I've tried to fix the small horn on his right temple also because it isn't right either, but it does the same thing. Sigh...

*Edit: I actually just got an email from them saying they booked a replacement.

It has to be something like that. They tried to give me a $15 credit to keep it as is, but I can't fix it myself and it's so distracting.

Medicom everything except the belt which is ssv1. I might out medi belt back on. Body is hot toys and head was modified to fit a 89 Batman neck. I kind of want the next sculpt thought

Really like this figure. Have all 3 versions, and think this is the best. Yes, lack of accessories is a negative, but great figure overall.IMG_0567.JPGIMG_0569.JPG

Great pics. It is a solid figure. Anyone wanting a Maul in their collection should consider this one. Make sure you get it for a better price than sideshow is offering.
