I COuld possibly see 199.99 if they wanted to charge us an extra 10$ premieum, becuase it's vader.

However, it's worth mentioning, that these things generaly have a set price figured out EARLY in the design phase., based on the budget alloted to it's production.

He might even end up LESS than malgus, but it's NOT very likely.

185.99-199.99 is my expected range, and I'm expecing it begrudgingly.

Boba Fett was 174.99, AND he had a huge, bulky, electronic base. AND he was still overpriced.

What can Vader POSSIBLY include to make this guy Hot toys level of stupidity in pricing?

Will finally be getting a 1:6 Vader. Already have the old 1:4 which I'm perfectly happy with and the 1:1 bust. So this will complete the circle for me.

More excited now about this piece than what I saw a few moths ago - looks like they may have retooled the helmet (can only hope). Persoanlly I hated the previous 1.6 sideshow verion of the helmet - anything would be an improvement.

Oh I agree. But even as a stellar figure, I don't see this guy as being worth > 199.99.

Given what I expect he will include,

1 lit saber
1 unlit saber
1 Head, normal.
1 head with reveal helmet
1 Extra Helmet stand
1 pair fists
1 pair relaxed hands
1 pair gripping hands
1 pair force gesture hands
1 pair "resting on belt" hands
1 set of "crossed" hands
2-3 assorted "other" hand, not in pairs
1 Pair flat feet
1 pair of "action posed" feet.

that's fairly standard fare for sideshow. I just don't see how that's worth more than 184.99. THOUGH, I CAN see sideshow pushing it an extra 15 or so, JUST BECUASE it's vader.

Hence, 199.99

Then again, I also don't think Anything Hot toys makes is worth what they charge these days either.

That's how Hasbro and Mattel work their pricing, not how Sideshow does it.
