Glances over at my "deluxe" desert sands detachment sandtrooper. Didn't even realize it was a deluxe... what was so different from this and the clone troopers?

Given the contest makes no mention of it being an EX piece I'm thinking there won't be an EX of this one

Given the fact that this version is Empire/Jedi, I think a great exclusive item would be an alternate blown-out faceplate showing the face of Luke.
If they made the face hollow and thin, it could fit right in front of the Anakin head sculpt. Or, the Anakin head could be removed when displaying the 'Luke's Force Vision' version... but I won't hold my breath.

Anyway- I'm really looking forward to modding accurate lights onto the belt and chest piece.
I've been planning to mold the light blocks from colored translucent plastic, and cut out and replace the sculpted/painted ones. (this assumes of course that lights aren't already included, which is almost certain.) It would REALLY be sweet if the lights were already colored and translucent front-to-back, so adding tiny LED's in the rear and connecting to a hidden battery pack would finish it. I do regular business with an online LED seller, who has everything- including on/off flashing timers.
Either way, it'll be a rewarding mod when I can flip the lights on.
