I think the last piece he did for Sideshow was the bronze vader and that was a while ago.

Me too. He was surely one of SSC's top sculptors. Without exception, his sculpts had life and accuracy.

But here's what I saw:

face is a mishmash of Lucas-fied "Shayden".

Sleeve makes arm look like little-boy arms.

It might be... but the eye looks a bit squintier and the back of the head (from the ear up_ looks pretty smooth.

But gain, that could just be lighting and angle... the lighting on the two is pretty different.
