aslo.. wht the hate on the baggy costume? this will allow for greater articulation, without the suit hindering it. allowing for the better creation of movie accurate poses.. and once posed, the suit should tighten against the body.

beyond that, In-canon he's got robot arms and legs that were fairly skeletal in their design.. so it SHOULD be baggy on his extremities.

1st impression looking at that new pic was, hmmm nice, but.. something's not quite right.. Then i realised, where's the shoulder armor?!

Really? This is just crazy talk... Vader did not have spindly arms :lecture

OMG you're right! :lol

Yep, that's definitely what's throwing it off :lol

I just saw this image in SS website and the reflex on the window looks very interesting...

I know in the first preview pic they said lighting was added for effect, but it's funny how the belt still looks lit up in the reflection.

No, David Prowse doidsn't have spindly arms.. and we already know that the liscensor, Lucasfilm, prefers the figures to reflect the character, not the actor.

Right... but what's more accurate? This idea of thin robot arms, or what he actually looked like. I don't know what licensors ask for, but I doubt they said "make the suit look like it was made for thick arms, but instead he's got skinny robot ones instead." :lol

Hmm interesting, the shoulder armor is missing.
Surely that was a blooper on behalf of the photographer doing the photo shoot :slap

Contest also gives a little idea about when we might see this:
