Personally, this photo looks like a well lit Hasbro 3 3/4" figure...
Would like to hear a photographer pipe in about that. Seems like maybe they overcompensated for the all black outfit by blasting it with light. Can't imagine that much texture would be apparent in a normal display environment.

SS's photographers should either learn how to look through a lens while taking a photo, or find a career in shooting weddings for the blind. They messed up the Boba Fett photos and now Vader.

And yet didn't they hire somebody from here to take some photos of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan and post them on their facebook page?

Chest box is small?

Well something is out scale... Either the shoulder armor, or the belt, or both are too small. It makes the chest box look tiny. The Chet box might even be a tad smaller than it should be.

Remember a polished turd is still a turd even though it has a SSC logo stamped on it.

Not the same person that took the photos of pudgy Fett without a neck, or the Vader with the crooked head?:slap

Who took the pictures of the Medicom Vader with the fat, child-like mask?

Obviously the problem is what you see, and not what anyone who disagrees with you sees, simply because it has an SSC logo stamped on it.

Again, is not the perfect Vader...
But it's as good as it gets in 1/6 scale...

Nah...that would be any of Medicoms three versions. Yeah they're small but the actual sculpt and proportions on their offerings are light years ahead even now...

Does this really look right to everyone?

The chest box looks small, rides too high.

The shoulder/chest armor looks too small.

Neck looks elongated.

Torso looks elongated.

Belt looks small.

Cod piece looks too textured.

Photo is too sharp.

Too much blue in the background.

Vader looks very black.

That really doesn't look very good. Usually SS has great proto's and crappy final's. This doesn't fare well for the January release. But i want one pending it's not a complete cluster**** so see ya in the winter.

(Thank god i grabbed the medi 2.0 for 200$ shipped seems like a deal now)

Which horse is that? Telling off trolls who rat on you because they're too good to have their own **** thrown back at them, and too cowardly to engage in direct confrontation?

That horse?
