Nah...that would be any of Medicoms three versions. Yeah they're small but the actual sculpt and proportions on their offerings are light years ahead even now...

IF you can get a Hurricane Vader, which is pretty much impossible these days, and the older ones, as great as they are, they don't hold up to today's standards IMO...

No eyebrows.

Unfortunately that makes this headsculpt a total fail for me. "No eyebrows" will forever be synonymous with the "no...NOOOOO" idiot Vader of the 2011 blu-rays which is a version of ROTJ I'll never watch again and sure as heck won't represent on my shelf. Or were his eyebrows removed on the 2004 DVD's? Either way I have no interest in a SE idealized Shaw. The stern expression I could live with, but not changes to his actual face.

I might consider this ESB/ROTJ combo Vader (no need for EX), but if I get it, then the ANH version will be sold/traded. I also hope the figure will be close to perfect for this money, I don't want to see another broken belt/cod piece like it was with my first ANH Vader, which I had to send back for replacement.

Despite some obvious wrongness in the shoulder/chest area your decision to purchase is a pretty strong endorsement. I'm just disappointed the high cost rules out me grabbing 2 for different dioramas.

Making the chest armor bigger would solve a lot of problems but will they fix that? It's a pretty big change on what they have put forward. Is there much precedence for them making a change like that? There doesn't seem to be much of an outcry so I personally think its doubtful.

It's still gonna look awesome with the Hot Toys Luke (assuming the scale is right) so I'm in.

The chest box looks small, rides too high.
Agree a little small

The shoulder/chest armor looks too small.
This seems to be inconsistent, some of the other photos it looks fine.
Could possibly be the way it's riding on the figure.

Neck looks elongated.
Likely because of the way the torso armor is sitting.
