You can buy chain like that at Michaels.

In this picture is how sideshow vader should look,

The figure's hands are too big, pants are too big. Its jumpsuit is too baggy. The chest is too big for the rest of the body. The helmet a bit too big and too dull. 250 Dollars for this figure is an absolute joke from Sideshow. They just put it out there because they know you will buy just like you bought the last one. This figure is nothing more than a Hasbro figure with extra light up features. You need to really open your eyes and see this **** for what it really is - a huge disappointment.

.... also... your pictures... From ESB they are. from ROTJ this vader is.

Suprise it is not, that mach it does not. Accurate Baggy suit may not be, but able to do more poses than Bat-D!ld0 is he. So a pass the Baggy suit gets.

and hasbro figure?

Eyes examined, I thinks you need.

My personal view is that hot toys , ss etc never made anything to perfection so usually they leave the 'good to have details out' and here they could have left the bad to have detail out for once, even if the pants were baggy in original... These are way too baggy, will get lot of creases, also vader does not need too many poses to go for. It sucks that the pants are way way too baggy and will be all crumbled when we receive - i can gurantee that.
Bottom line... The way the pants are done he looks more like a southpark version of vader makes him look short, stout and too much going on in the groin area. I did buy it but i am hoping they change this a bit, it will look like a crumpled rag doll when we open the package. Mark my words.

Surely it will be as simple as tucking some of the pants into his boots.
Its not about make shift arrangements. Its about a figure costing $$$ and being worth that. I bought one too, however that does not mean i should be happy with what is thrown my way at any cost. :( Soon these figures will touch 500 dollars mark in a year or two and unless some company comes and does this at a better value prop our dollars will be theirs. I also agree that they are not forcing us to buy these but one still has the right to point out expectations especially considering the cost.

i will buy what is available best in the market but that does not mean it cant be done better!

recently started to get into collecting figures.
I have a few dark knight ones.
I am a big Star Wars fan but is this Vader worth the $250?
I was also interested in the obi wan, dx Luke and darth malgus and darth maul. are any of them worth buying?

My personal view... They are worth buying but plan and buy, i bought about 25 in last 4 months. I am kinda broke but mow i do only preorders as i have what i wanted except one or two. Darth maul is amazing, so is this vader except that i hate the pants. But i still bought it as this will come in jan 2014. I am a big terminator and batman fan as well so have loadz of them... Its a great hobby so long u can plan and pay... They are expensive though!
