It's not just the dome though..

The body still isn't beefy enough to fill out that floppy bodysuit, & the cod piece still looks like it's been polished with extra coarse sand paper.

It's still a catch 22.

He's looking at the ceiling in the video so the dome looks a little better but we'll see..

Perhaps Sideshow's plan was:

Sideshow shows Vader with small dome.
People panic and cancel their orders.
Sideshow keeps the $25 non-refundable deposits from those orders.
Sideshow pulls Vader from the display and returns him with the corrected dome.
People re-order Vader with another $25 non-refundable deposit.

Agreed! I was at SDCC last week. In person, I thought Vader, Grievous and white Boba Fett were the best. I'm excited to get all 3.

hope they make more improvements. The white fett looks good, I wish the previous had improvements (such as the vest) like this.

Even with the vids popping up still not pulled in to buy him on day 1. Just to many other great figures floating around that may or may not sell out years before vader does
