This might as well be my own photo and comment. Why the hell are so many tusks broken off, and why do they all seem to be the left one? At least I found my tusk stuck to the magic tape across his chest, and the peg that inserts into the mask was not broken. Glued back in place. Thing of beauty.

Yeah, bizarre that it's always the left one (mine was loose), but cool that it's actually a separate piece. At first I figured that they wanted to be careful about excess glue, but that doesn't explain why the right ones are secure.

here`s a pic with my marmit and my sideshow stormtroopers

Wow.. I think the Hasbro figure is respectable compared to the famous marmit and sideshow versions. Not quite as streamlined and sleek. I'm sure the Marmit and Sideshow Troopers have higher quality materials and feel more solid. The picture makes me happy with my Hasbro version. Thanks for posting.

Sideshow's has the best material, but I guess Marmit's is the most accurate. I always liked the look of Sideshow's best. Details are much sharper, even if they aren't a perfect representation. Proportions also come across as more lifelike.

I just contacted SS about my cape and tunic and SS is replacing them both, but you have to destroy the old ones. You don’t have to send the old ones back so you don’t have to worry about them giving you a recut cape or tunic.

Nice thats resolved so quick and easy. I thing the tusks will be a bit longer. I called the other day and sent pics in immediately and was told they got my pics and someone will contact me in 3-5 business days about the issue.

I also had a problem with my Vader head sculpt and she took care of that to. She kept calling the tunic a dress, LOL. I think sometimes its the person you deal with at SS the girl I spoke to was great here is the E-mail exchange

Dear Jason,

D’ho! You are right! So sorry about that! Please know that I have updated your order and it will now include the unmasked head.
Thank you so much and have a good day!
Best regards,

Lord Vader arrived yesterday... just now had a chance to have a look and... 1 word... WOW!

This figure deserves every bit of praise it's getting and then some...the pictures in here have been great... but when you have it right in front of you...I'm just amazed!
From the impressive packaging (more like this please Sideshow!) to the figure itself...everything is top-notch here.

Anyone on the fence about this one...get off it now!

Very kool. I'm hoping mine gets resolved quicker than what I am being lead to believe. Something tells me they are having so. Many complaints that the reslolution process may get drawn out. So long as it gets taken care of. Sucks that I am so impatient though.. It's only my second time though with the process. The first time being with those defective original STORMIE hands years ago and since I get just about all the Star Wars 1/6 guys and iron men I can't complain too much. Stupid little silver tusk.....

Just trim them with a pair of sharp scissors, guys.

Unless you know what you are doing and have the right tools I would not recommend you attempt this.

There was no way I would have been able to cut the cape so that so that it would look like it was intended.

The replacement cape I was sent is perfect.

Just burn the edges with a lighter.

Just kidding.
