I would call and get a new one, I called last week as I had a broken tusk on the main portrait and the belt lights did not work. They send me both within a couple of days and I just had to send them pics of the parts destroyed.

Crocked? Do you mean crooked? I don't see anything wrong with the Anakin head. Can't the head just be maneuvered?

As far as the shipper, that wouldn't bother me in the least, but that's me. Is the art box damaged?

Well, the shipper is just that - Shipper. It's there to be damaged so the art box will not..
But the portrait does look crooked, I'd ask for a replacement if I was you.

The art box has a slight crease. I haven't tried to readjust the head to straighten it. I don't want to break it!

Is the hem on my Vader cape acceptable? It does look a little frayed?

It's not bad, but it is frayed. The replaced cape I got from SS was pristine. Even those little edges are not present in the replaced cape.

I got an email about my missing tusk. Hopefully I'll get an answer if they'll replace.

I don't know, its all up to you. Personally, none of that would bother me. The cape doesn't look bad and I'd see if I could straighten the head out. I mean the head is removable, right? If it breaks just tell SSC it came like that. :dunno

You need to hide the skinny arm on Vader (Luke's arms look much bigger) and properly expose the photo. If it's shadow you want, then use additional back-lighting, but right now it's just underexposed.

Thanks for your kind comment but the photo is just like I wanted to make it. Wanted to pose them as it's possible unmodiefied out of the box. The arms don't bother me that much, though I'll probably modify them a little at some point. If I wanted to expose it more I would have taken this one: :wink1:

I quite like this picture. Vader and Luke look good together there.

Thanks Wor-Gar! Really love these figures!

Ha, that one's just too flat. Anyway, take it or leave it, it was just an observation. Likewise you might consider increasing the levels on the text to make it more readable. On a well calibrated monitor even at high brightness it's very low contrast and the bottom line very difficult to make out.

I just chatted with Tesa at SSC and she assured me that my Vader is shipping out to me today.

Nice.:rock Still nothing for me after my last flex charged on the 15th. I just called and was told it should be shipping in the next couple of days. Oh well, I really can't wait to see this in person, but another week won't kill me I guess.:lol
