Sideshow ESB/ROTJ Darth Vader

I dunno guys, looks good to me. The widow's peak looks slightly off and the cape will be replaced but other than that it looks like Darth Vader.

Well, the issue currently is also the dome placement. It is tilting too much forward at the top, pulling the rear up, so my comparison isn't really perfect. Sure, it would probably help to make the dome a little larger, but it needs to be tilting further back.

Currently it has the Don Post and Rubies look to it.

That's how I felt as well. I thought the dome issue was with it sitting too high up on the back of the head... It's really hard to tell at this point.

Well, it is definitely undersized, that much is clear. It has to be remembered that to the normal sized person, the dome is HUGE.

It just currently looks like they married a Don Post child's helmet dome with a full scale face mask.

A little while ago I had another look at my Hasbro talking Vader, just to assure myself that whatever this mock-up looks like, it's an improvement. (Though the dome might come in handy?)

If this really is the final release then my buck would rather go somewhere else. Im not going to spend then do that helmet mod and repurchase another cape again. No no. Might just wait on eBay for the gloves and stand.

I find just about ever facet of Sideshow's presentation this year at SDCC to suck. Crappy reveals. No chat. No webcam.

That's why it's better to be an attendee. Always plenty to walk around and see. I went to Sideshow's booth multiple times a day last year.

I don't remember anything popping up like that last year. Maybe they didn't have their act together this time.
