:D I do go back and forth a lot on ANH and ESB and which I favor. Right now, I'm on an ANH upside. Ask me a year ago I probably would have said ESB. I think ESB is more watchable because of the 3 intercut storylines, while ANH is linear and can seem to plod along after multiple immediate viewings. But the first STAR WARS will always have a special place in my heart.

And Indiana, I was just razzing you because you brought up an old post from like two days ago. Believe me, I actually do think about these things. Stupid OCD loop. Also, you have the rockin'-est sig so you're always good in my book.

:) :rock2 :whip

Got mine yesterday and thankfully it came in pristine condition! Gotta futz with the outfit a little bit but very impressed with the overall quality SS is delivering with this figure. Looks great next to the HT Luke.

Where were the glue joints on it and how much was it glued in (was it hard to separate it from the collar)? My Anakin head is slightly crooked too....

If you look at the bottom of the sculpt where the neck ball joint goes, you will see two small pieces that stick into the sculpt. I just slid a small flat edged screwdriver inbetween the headsculpt and the collar and broke those free. It really was not hard at all. Once you get the head free, you will see two grooves cut out of the neck. I carved out a bit on each side to make the grooves bigger so I could rotate the head in the collar so he was looking straight.

I hope that makes sense. I can post pics of my modded head if you want more clarification.

I see Vader in ANH as ruthless who despises the rebellion and did his own work.

In TESB he was "obsessed" and didn't care who got in his way in finding his son. He got a new suit maybe b/c Palpy punished Vader via force lighting a little for the destruction of his DS. :lol

ROTJ yeah he's not the Vader like previously I think b/c of Luke's innocence/goodness had an influence on Vader.

SSC have finally offered to put me in the wait list for a replacement helmet, they won't replace the shoulder armour "in case the replacement turns up in worse condition" but haven't offered any discount/partial refund, so I've requested one.

I agree with this. The "obsession" angle is even mentioned in the opening prose to ESB so it did have an impact on Vader's drive.
