I passed on the first SS Vader because I prefer the ESB/ROTJ look, so I'm defnitely getting this one. Finally I'll have a proper Vader in my collection.

I like the idea of the "sad, little man behind the curtain" but on my shelf I'd rather have evil-ass Vader with hot eyes!

I'm good with him not having Sith eyes. It works on the bust so I think it would also work for the 1/6.

I know nobody knows SIDESHOW is a mystery on thier release's and one thing i hate but also makes this collecting fun and irritating ha ha...I'M just gonna be prepared to order my two darth's from here on out he will be MINE....................

Pretty much. I thought it was a good all around Vader. Eyebrows don't make sense on a burnt head, and Vader wasn't always sad, defeated guy under the mask. It is more of a "I'm still a bad mofo" Vader. I thought of is as what Vader would have looked like while brooding in his pod on the Star Destroyer before his dome came down. Anakin/Vader is an angry guy.

there have been hints for a few months now on here and Sideshows Q and A....now the pay off begins.
I really like the portrait on this one BUT.....is it possible the Ex could be a Hayden portrait-something not ALL fans would want,but if Sideshow would do it,now would be the time.
Hope he comes with the cut off right hand from the duel scene at the end of Jedi.

I'm good with bad mofo sculpt.

I don't want a Hayden sculpt, that's for damn sure. Besides, they'd save that for the ROTS Vader.

ROTS Vader is one case where I support a Hayden sculpt, painted and sculpted right, it would look really cool.

But using Hayden on a portrait that should be Shaw would be bad. It's tolerable for the Ghost of Anakin.

Not really interested in a reveal version, but the options for display of the is Vader are awesome,
Vader palps throne
Vader Boba ESB
Vader Luke ESB
Vader Luke ROtj (hopefully a ROTJ HT luke is in development)
the mask looks amazing so hopefully the dome is correct as well
Looking forward to seeing the exclusive, will try to get it for sure this time

Dome is key, the mask looked fine on the ANH Vader, the dome just wasn't properly scaled and designed.

I hope if we see this before SDCC, they have a photo of him next to ANH Vader or some other figure to show the improved height.

I agree, if they every do a ROTS specific Vader (which they probably will) a crispy Hayden makes sense. Although it doesn't matter much to me as I have zero interest in owning that version of Vader.
