I really hate this policy by SSC. I order from BBTS and no signature required, order from Sideshow and you have to have someone babysit the house until a UPS driver decides to show up.

You can sign up for an account at UPS Choice and select to have them leave it without a signature. I do this all the time and have never had a problem with it.

I got mine today and other than the mentioned discrepancies he look good but I have a question. One of the boots fell off and the peg is in the leg and not the boot like the others. I'm not as schooled as most on the forum in fixing or repairing figures. What would be the easiest way to insert the peg properly back into the boot? I tried just pushing it back in but I didn't want to break anything. It's an oversized plug that is a really tight fit almost like it wasn't meant to be removed from the boot. Thanks.

UPS has the choice to pre-sign for your package and they will leave it at the front door, or a different place as per your choice of options. That is what I do, and the box is there when I get home. Just depends how much you trust your neighbors!

Yup. It's called UPS my choice or something like that. You just sign up. Doesn't cost a thing. Then they email you when a package is going by to be delivered the next day. You can choose at that time to sign electronically and have it left at your house at any door you choose. Love it. Haven't had a problem yet.

Just sign up for myups, it's free and you can do signature release so they just leave it. Or you can have them take it to a UPS store or hub where you can pick it up (usually adds a day to the delivery time in my case).

Whoops, or what xequae, darkeyes, and jedijim said. :lol

:lol:lol Everyone knows about this but me. :lol:lol

I received my 2 Scout Trooper today. What I didn't like is the brown box packaging. Regular issue is boxed in a tight brown box that cost US$30 to shipped.
The exclusive version, the brown box is twice the size of the content. With brown paper filler. And this cost me US$45 to shipped. I don't get it why it has to be 2 different sizes. Sigh.

That's some ********.

Got the Trooper today...looks great. One kneepads strap is broken...I'll have a look at it tomorrow and see if it's an easy fix or if I need to contact Sideshow for a new one.

I do really like the figure. ..can't wait until next week for the bike to arrive. Sideshow has a nice fresh gallery of no shots of the set over on the site.

Got mine today. Pretty decent overall but I'm not a fan of how easy the hands fall off and also the head really does feel loose. The figure itself looks pretty good though.

Finally, he is here! :) the figure that first got me interested in 1/6th scale.

Had to put him on the top shelf with the Stormies for now, since he is to tall to stand with the base on the middle shelf. Will have him kneeling next to the Speeder and second Scout when they arrive.

Nothing broken and nothing missing. $65 dollars in customs though :(

I understand the critique about the body, head is really loose, hard to pose him holding the rifle with both hands. Will definately switch to a slim. But very happy with this one!

Now that many of us have received our figures or have seen the pics and posts noting the differences between the fig and the actual movie suit, my question to everyone is why do you think things like this were approved? I know every little detail can't be perfect on a mass production item but this is a high end collectible. In the past I know Lucas was very specific in approving items for sale but do you think this may be the future and the result of Disney now owning the rights? Could future product approval be more of a "it's close enough as long as it sells" attitude?

Because they don't really care (neither ILM, Disney or collectible companies).
