Nice custom and comparison. Hasbro done a better job on the knee-guards and the tomy helmet is still a little beauty if slightly under scaled.

Started body swap surgery, need to get longer foot pegs but very happy with the results. The sideshow body is a steaming pile. The swap makes this trooper look like "man in suit". I used HT storm trooper body and left all the padding on. Gives it a better fill out of the body suit as well. starting on #2 now.

Looks great, much more realistic looking especially around the shoulders. SS really need to design a new body

Mines out for delivery a day early :panic:, Looks great here was planning to use the HT trooper body myself, how did you get on with the foot/hand pegs?

I put the boots and gloves in a hot water bath and pulled the pegs out with needle nose pliers. With the heat they pop right off. The foot pegs sit on ball joints so the body goes right in the boots with the HT with normal double ball joints. Same with the hands. Very easy swap actually. The trooper has several layers but they are neatly set with velcro. As far as swaps are concerned, this was one of the easiest I've ever done and makes the scout look 10 times better.

Did you mean to put the knee pads upside down? They look kind of cool.

Opps.:lol I actually was rushing getting the body back together. I think it does look better flipped actually comparing. Not screen accurate but it looks more natural flipped.

If anyone has some time in the middle of a body swap, can you try putting him onto a generic "Narrow Shoulder" body please? I love the slim body types, but I don't want to overuse them and I thought this guy's legs were already looking way too thin as it is.

Great photos, everyone!

Love the pose, Stealth!

Got mine yesterday but I didn't have too much time to, uh, play with him. I looked him over and it appears that everything is present and nothing is broken.

The head is wobbly like everyone has been reporting, but I don't see it as too much of a problem since it stays in place when I pose it. The body is pretty tight, although the long rifle might be too heavy to keep the arm bent without support from the other arm.

The little baby pistol is a pain to get in the hand. The little trigger guard actually came unglued in the front when I was carefully wrestling it to put it on. Luckily, it's not broken just unglued in the joint, but it stays put. I'll have to dab it with some glue when I get a chance. But now I'm afraid to put the gun in properly in fear that I will actually break the trigger guard for real, so I just have the gun placed in the hand a little crooked. It looks okay that way from the outside.

I like the mod to dremmel the sides so the arms hang naturally, but I don't have the cojones to do that, and I don't want to bother dropping $30 on another body. So it will stay as is. I'll find a pose that works.

My wife commented about the cummerbund being way too white and pristine compared to the rest of the outfit!:lol

Overall I think it's a great figure. I do wish I had an Endor Han to go with him! :impatient:

Of course I missed the Fedex guy today. Only out of the house for like 30 minutes and he didn't call like they usually do. Will have to pick it up from the depot tomorrow.

I missed the UPS guy yesterday and left town this morning for a four day trip! Oh well, I've got your outstanding photos to keep me occupied until I can pick him up.

Yeah the noisy cricket pistol is a pain in more ways than one.

Got mine today, I almost wish I didn't see the pics showing all the inaccuracies of the helmet so that I could stop looking at it. Probably will try the dremel on the body(nothing to lose there) and track down some of that elusive sixth scale dirt. That "blaster" will never leave his boot, if there wasn't two sets I would consider gluing it in place as it keeps falling out. The rifle could use some weathering and maybe some clear coat gloss on the scope lens. Still a lot to like here and happy to have him, on the fence regarding the bike.

Course no one home when they attempted to deliver

I really hate this policy by SSC. I order from BBTS and no signature required, order from Sideshow and you have to have someone babysit the house until a UPS driver decides to show up.
