I have always wondered about the Toy Anxiety breakdowns. Seems like a lot of effort with the potential for a lot of unsold parts. Anyone ever figured out what the markup is. That is, if you put the same piece together part by part how much would come to above retail.

I would assume it's a good markup considering they hopefully pay wholesale when they get new figures like the Scout. But they have great prices and it's a cool and helpful business model.

I just went on earlier out of curiosity to see if I could get enough pieces to put together a cheaper second scout for the bike considering I already have the extra gloves and boots etc., but at around $135 I still wasn't totally complete and so gave up.

My first reaction to that question is:





I have no idea about that one. Both sets make a killer display. I THINK I would choose Han & Chewie first. Can't go wrong with the dynamic duo.

Han and Chewbacca without any hesitation or doubts.

Both are very iconic, more so than the Speeder and Scout Trooper. I have the Scout Trooper, very cool, passed on the bike, but in hand observations to photos of Han and Chewbacca, the duo looks much better than the Scout. Plus, I think Han and Chewbacca will sell out a lot quicker than the Scout and the Speeder, so if you do pass on Scout/Speeder, I think you might have a good chance to pick them up later down the line more so than Han and Chewbacca.

Edit: Plus there are many different display options with Han and Chewbacca if you like to change your figures up every now and then. The scout with the speeder you would really only have two options. Scout riding the speeder or standing/sitting by it.

Easy. Scout and bike look badass and dynamic, but Han & Chewbacca have the following going for them:

1. Relative to the Scout and bike, I'd say they're more accurate.
2. More personality.
3. They're heroes. I love my Imperials but let's face it, they're faceless goons, thugs and mooks.
4. Chewbacca is a truly unique action figure.
5. If you care...(not saying you should, collecting is about what you like) ... Han & Chewbacca are more accessible to a non-geek audience.

It's an easy choice.

Got my scout and the hasbro bike is not too bad. Need some weathering to match but the size and detail are good enough to pass as acceptable.

The Hasbro bike is quite cool. Works nice with the SSC Scout. With a bit of weathering it will be great.
