Yep. I'll go for the refund for now. Great customer service, will even get a return label so no cost to ship it back.

should have my bike this month too :panic:

Can't see the picture.

SSC Scout and Speederbike arrived. Easy assembly, the only issue I had was with trooper's belt being too wide and I used some hidden tape to hold it up as it should have been in the first place. A nice set of figures, 8.5 out of 10.

Great pics love the scenery outdoors. Terrible body those arms are a hot mess. His left arm looks like he has a compound fracture. Swap bodies to a TT or the like and you will be good to go. :)

The Sideshow stock body still absolutely sucks though. When I got my bike recently I tried getting him in a decent sniper pose and it can't really be done. Loose joints too, can't hold some of the poses you can make him do. Unacceptable considering retail on these is about the same as hot toys storm troopers which have exceptional stock bodies. Even the knockoff hong kong bodies are miles better. I probably would have bought a second bike and trooper if this wasn't an issue, as it is I'm sticking with one set I think. :dunno years of this with no improvement whatsoever

I'm not a fan of the Sideshow style body, but the build quality and plastics are much better than the no-name $20 bodies on eBay. One of the bigger issues for me is that Sideshow traditionally hasn't had enough variety in their body sizes to accommodate different characters. WRT to posing, the shoulder are what I find most restrictive and really hurt the appearance of the arm length when raised.

I've not had any of the issues bending knees nor torso to get him into a suitable riding position, even on the Hasbro Bike with absolutely does not have a 1/6 seat (it's way too wide).

They've developed at least one new body which is premiering with the new Luke figure - I don't know what's different about it.

Nice to hear they are making an attempt, we'll see I guess. I'm sure that I will end up with that one too, but can't imagine I'll be setting up x wing Luke in a very demanding pose. I hope the gloved hands stay on tighter than the scouts.

I've been waiting so long for them to do a Scout Trooper, but now that it's here, there's something about it that is making me hold back and I can't pinpoint what it is exactly.

It's off in a number of different areas/ways, but it's a super nice figure in photos and even more-so in hand. No regrets for me - in fact n regrets with any Sideshow Star Wars figures that I've ever bought (I've been very selective).

I've been pretty selective as well, and as nice as it is and as far as Sideshow has come, they still look more doll like than Hot Toys figures. I think it's the body or maybe slightly oversized hands & feet etc. I don't regret the handful I own either. I do regret the Medicom ones though lol, I can't even give them away.

After having this for a month and the having the trooper posed standing next to him I finally plucked the courage to pose him on the bike. Really happy with the resulting display, the rifle I ended up putting I've the koto scout models shoulder so not waisted... These pieces truly do belong together :) Gree claimed the base for himself

I also lightly weathered the white pockets and cummerbund with a pencil. It needs a bit more to be in tone with the rest of the weathering, but is ok for now. I didn't like the bright white next to the weathered armor.

The SSC body is not perfect, but the figure itself has its own issues, so I don't feel the need to change anything as of yet. When HT makes the Scout then hopefully it will be better. This SSC Scout is perfect for now.

The new Deadpool fig that just started shipping is supposed to have a new body. Might be the one we get on X-Wing Pilot Luke.

If you see anyone doing a tear down of that figure let us know, it would be cool to see what's changed from the Prometheus types we've been getting with everything else.

It's a Sideshow figure. Trust me, there's going to be plenty of people tearing it down.:lol

I got mine today and while I'm not tearing him down, my Deadpool figure is a lot more solid than my last sideshow figure (Scout Trooper). I'm getting poses the Scout couldn't begin to touch and he's holding them. Arms still hang out to the side rather than hanging naturally though. It's not true type quality, but anecdotally this body seems to be an improvement.

Something was bothering me with the Scout Trooper.

This morning I realized it was the forest base. As soon as I took it away the figure improved.

Not only was it fake and rubbery looking, but I found it got in the way of positioning his feet. If placed at the back it pushes him forward too far, and if in front it gets in the way of the rifle. I also think he looks better when you can see his boots in full.

Spurred on by newfound optimism I removed the snow bases from the Hoth Luke and Hans. They take up less space now and appear more 'streamlined' and in-keeping with other figures.
