Woho! Bring me my scout. But yeah strange that no pictures have surfaced.
O

same here. Here's a question. I looked at the Sideshow site and the pics for the scout do not say prototype shown. I Haven't looked at it in ages so my question is are these actual production photos now or the original photos? I question because Even the Hoth Han figure still says prototype shown still.

I was wondering the same thing.

But I think I recognise all the photos apart from the 'blue screen' one:

Same photos from when it first went up. SS probably forgot to add that "prototype" label to the page. Even when they update with production pics, like the Hoth figures you mentioned, they usually leave the "prototype" icon up there. :slap

This is the only production shot we've seen of the scout trooper. Early sample, according to SS. I still can't believe that what was shown, and handled by people, at SDCC wasn't a production scout.

Looks great in that shot!

I spoke to SS customer service and they said they might be able to charge me earlier than my scheduled flex pay and ship this when they get it in stock.

Just got my processing notice. Shipping is $18 to Maryland. Ouch!!!!

How are they sending it? Private jet?

seriously. $17.55 to Chicago. It's like an EBay shipping markup. WTH. And I have it ship to the FedEx store for pickup which they say costs less than actually a final destination ship to a home.

Got my notice for tomorrow too. I'm being charged $20 for shipping which seems high to me. Hopefully its worth it.

$16.68 shipping for me, who lives 15 miles from Sideshow. So its less than a dollar more to go to Chicago?

I'm calling SS. There's no reason shipping should be so much. If it is, I may cancel the Ex and pick this up for $50 less elsewhere.

All this talk of shipping, I went back and looked at the email again.

It says $29.44.

Which is odd because it's usually $30 to the UK.

Honestly the shipping cost doesn't seem that way off to me. I ship things through UPS all the time from NJ to FL and on average it's $15-$18. Ridiculous, I know. But I don't think I've ever shipped anything via UPS and had it been below $10.

I used to work at Morgan Stanley and they had an awesome deal with UPS where pretty much anything was $5 for shipping. So we could (and did) ship out Christmas or birthday presents to family and friends anywhere in the US for $5!

$16.80 to California. That is indeed high. And add the $15 CA sales tax. The rewards points really are not enough incentive to keep ordering direct from Sideshow.
