If you think socialism doesn't exist in America, you haven't been paying attention. Public Libraries, the Police and Fire Dept, Postal Service, Public Schools the Polio Vaccine and on and on... That's all socialism mate.

I pay attention boss. The current administration is trying to switch us to socialism. We are still a capitalistic country and democracy, not a socialistic country like many in Europe who keep taxing the hell out of the upper middle class and rich to pay for all the others who are on government assistance, so called socializing free medicine. I am 44 years old and a veteran so please do not try to school me on current political matters. I have paid attention for a long time, probably longer than you have been alive. Our government does not control and run everything, even though are trying. Sorry to come across defensive, butthe USA is NOT a socialist country. Greece is a percect example of socialism and see how they are doing?

Well..... perhaps bad news....

I just spoke to UPS to get this package held at the center for pick-up OR do a digital signature... and apparently they still haven't picked this up yet. So the guy on the phone believes that this will likely be pushed to a Friday delivery instead of tomorrow.

So, if this is true, I will NOT be the first with in-hand pics. Sorry guys! I was looking forward to it.

But at least I don't have to drug my wife now.

Also might try my camera phone to see if those pics look better -- I just hate the warping you get on close ups on a Galaxy.

Don't get close up. Stand a good five feet away and take the shot. Then crop the image. You won't lose much resolution, and it'll be a MUCH truer representation of the figure.

Oh, lord. One of you guys.

The U.S. military is the single biggest government project in the history of this country. Taxpayer-funded, protecting United States citizens whether they pay taxes or not.

Government-run and regulated. Just like the VA. Services owned and controlled by the government are socialist. Thank you for your service, check your facts, and kindly get back on topic. This is no place for politics.

If you have myups you can change the type of delivery to no signature, unless that has changed.

You cannot IF the sender has requested otherwise (even though the site will allow you to go thru the process, just will not send the instruictions). Since the sender is paying, they are king.

MY UPS is very confusing and not very effective. I have made online changes before that have not translated to on-the-ground instructions. Also, if you choose to have the package left, there is no option to leave at mailbox (just door, porch, reception, and 10 other things that don't apply to me). The only good it does is allow you to track your package, and in some instances, change your delivery to hold for pick-up. That's IF you have a few days advance notice. If the turnaround is two days or less then things can go wonky quickly.

I think the last SS SW fig I got from BBTS was the probe droid, and that was shipped in the BBTS box, no SS shipper.

I'm trying to quit the 1/6th scale figures. It's not going well, but this was the first I didn't get. So, I'm really hoping you guys say this guy totally sucks. We'll see how I'm doing after seeing the incoming photos.
