Is it taking you guys a long time to hear back from SSC about replacement parts? I had a live chat with Tesa ans she gave me the customer service email. I emailed both her and customer service several days ago, and I still havent heard back.
 
I bought two and I had no major problems with either. My only gripe is that the screw for the battery access on one of the stands was partially stripped, but I could turn it with a small flat-head screwdriver. The figures themselves seem to be fine.

I got an answer withing 8 hours. Other board members had to wait up to a couple days. I think you should try and contact them again. Your mail might have been lost in the flood of replacement requests.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to get back to them. It's just weird that I haven't heard from either customer service or Tesa, I emailed them both.
 
I received mine with the helmeted head missing left tusk... looked through the packaging but it was not there. The inside of the nose has tons of silver slop paint on it making it look asymmetrical and really weird.

I contacted SSC about a month ago and it took them a week to get back to my initial online replacement form. They said due to the number of replacements it might take 2-3 weeks to get. I emailed them again about a week and a half ago to follow up and they said they are still waiting on the parts to be shipped so they did not have a better estimate at this time.

Aside from that my chest box straps were completely misaligned, I had to pop off the head, cape and upper armor to find out that the strap had gotten trapped down in the neck area but I was able to adjust it (one of the straps connecting to the chest box came unglued but that is an easy fix).

My Anakin head is slightly cocked to the side as well but I have him holding his helmet and looking contemplatively at it like one of the early promos and it seems to me that the head was made to be at this angle to achieve this pose but I could be wrong. The mask snaps over this head tightly but the helmet sits loose on top so I still want my replacement helmeted head... hope they hurry up with it.

Overall I think he is really impressive... I had similar thoughts about the flair of the gloves at the wrist as other posters but they look ok in most poses... his tiny biceps though make him look a bit weak for his overall size, I have been camouflaging them with the cape or with poses that hide them.
 
Thanks for the update on the "2-3 weeks" bit - I've just been waiting it out and haven't contacted them a second time after receiving confirmation I was on the list for a replacement head. No biggy, I'm not in a terrible hurry as I've yet to finish up on the other mods anyway.
 
I have contacted SSC 3 times now. I got Vader the second week after release. I have never been contacted by them. I just give up. I assume they don't think my photos validate replacement parts I guess. I wish they would have told me one way or another. Hearing nothing is what bugs me.

I filled out the form on their site, and I live chatted with Tessa, I emailed them , and two weeks later I followed up on the first email.

I hear pretty regularly that beople are getting contacted in 48hrs or less. Of all the times I have contacted SSC I have never been contacted. It's very strange.

I have a tattered cloak, there is a glob of black over-paint from the eye on the reveal mask, and there is the standard scuff/gouge on the regular helmet. All pretty standard stuff.

I'm not angry with them or anything, all I want is to be told something.
 
You didn't get a confirmation of your pending replacement when you did the live chat?

Nope. Tessa said the best thing to do would be to either email her or customer service, so I emailed them both on Feb. 13th, then when I heard nothing I did a follow up email on the 28th. I filled out the form on the website about two weeks after the release.

Emails have been sent out today to some customers informing them that replacement parts will ship within the next week. Now would be a good tim to reach out again.
 
Got my Exclusive Vader this week. Looked almost like a mouse had chewed through the plastic where the left tusk was (missing). Sent in photos using their form Hopefully it doesn't take too long...

Well, add me to the list. I put mine on Flex pay so I just got mine today. And right out of the box I have a missing tusk :gah: Haven't had a chance to check everything, but kind of a bummer.

On the plus side the figure overall looks incredible, so as long as I get a new tusk I'll be a happy camper :duff
