I disagree. I see the tailoring (Bespin Luke anyone?) improving and the bodies are getting better with each release in little ways.

Since SS's prices are still WELL BELOW their competitors I have no problem with the increase. So long has by the time their prices are comparable to Hot Toys, the quality is as well.

I totally agree with you there, the price increase doesn't bother me at all. The figures keep getting better, so price increase is perfectly fine. Especially if that helps them R&D some better materials and such.

I think we are missing the point here, I think that the real question is who are the women in Nash's and Pfronz's signatures :naughty

You people complaining could always buy this figure for $159.99. He comes equiped with his special weapon. A Bat Camel Toe! This is sure to be the centerpiece of your collection. :rotfl

Hurry if you act now it actually might come with eye balls.

If SSC wants to bring their prices UP in line with HT and Medicom then they need to consider bringing the # of products DOWN in line with those companies.

I know there are some wealthy collectors here, but I think most of the collectors of the line can't afford 12+ $75 items when it used to be 12+ $55 items.

And when you start losing the completists your start losing your core base.

I dont know about HT, but medicom produce a staggering amount of product each year. Not just in 1/6, (which is significant.) there are tons of bearbrick, kubricks, designer toys, vcd and etc. SW is not their only products.

I love how these discussions turn into Medi vs. SSC so quickly...for what its worth I've always looked it as HT>SSC>Medi. Sorry for the Medi pricing they just don't justify the cost even though I have a few. Just my two credits.

As for the cost of the figure itself, you can't compare an HT Military against a SW figure. HT Military isn't paying the licensing costs of a SW anything. LFL definitely adds to the cost of the figure. Han is really expensive in comparison but I like the "Greedo Killer" pistol so I would have gone for the Exclusive either way. What I am seriously worried about is a figure as complex as the Military figure shown comes along and there are few characters in the SW universe that could go that way they'll be a ridiculous pricing and really alienate a large section of SW collectors who want these iconic characters but cannot afford the overall cost.

How boring. So predictable. I always know beforehand who will take Sideshows side, no matter what they do, or how much money they ask for the same old shoe. Even the argumentation don't surprise me anymore. There are truly very few critical Sideshow fans left, so it seams. And those that are critical, are stultified. Well, if you think it helps, so be it.

If you have a problem with Sideshows price policy, LET THEM KNOW! Send them a mail, or leave a comment on their site. That's what I do. Much more efficient.

Well, the exclusive Han is still available and it's been like three hours now. If that's not a sign, then I don't know what is.

Maybe people got mixed up and thought it was an LOTR 1/6 PPO.....:lol

I kid. I kid...

I'd have to completely agree.

You could also picket out in front of their offices. :lol

Honestly people they are a material item. They are not a necessity. You don't have to buy them if you don't want too. They are collectibles not Pokemon. You don't have to catch em all if you cant afford too. :D

A while....because its still making money. The funny thing is most of us griping in here bought it....what do they care if they've still turned a profit. What's interesting is they haven't sold out on a very high tier character...that will send more of a message then us *****ing in all reality. If we buy it they'll keep make it and even if we all loved everything they did once it stops turning a profit it goes bye-bye.

If the exclusive is taking this long to sell out then I think we will be seeing the regular one on gift card and as a give-away for a LONG LONG time.
