THE ELBOWS BEND! Just force them! I don't know how many times I have to post this. (But if they break, it's not my fault.)

I'd imagine once they upgrade to a new body, all the 12" will be slightly higher in price. Indy will probably use the body.

And that is fine with me. Let them raise the rates! I am sure they will be worth it.

For all those who say SS needs to tell us why the price is different I ask WHY? Very few companies ever explain pricing directly to customers. Like it even matters. No matter what they say a large % of you will say that they are lying. If you have a problem with the price don't buy it. Why aren't you yelling about why other companies products are the price they are. Sideshow explains way more to the customers and interacts with their customers more then most companies yet some here feel they are OWED even more. Keep pushing them and one day they will push back and we won't have any kind of interaction.

You exactly right! Leave them alone and let them conduct business. Again if you don't like it, please notify your congressman. :lol

I was in the process of typing something very similar to this but you said it better than I. I don't get why people feel they're entitled to why the price is going up. It has deal with it.

I really think a $5 or $10 increase is not a big deal, and just part of normal business... now if it jumped to like $90 to $100 for a standard figure (non armored, etc) then I think an explanation would be appreciated.

Sideshow doesn't owe anyone an explanation, but that doesn't mean that an explanation would be a bad idea if it would make people feel less ripped off.

Why would it make people feel less ripped off? These same people more than likely are gonna say SS is lying anyways.

There will always be some people who will think they're lying or whatever, but they are in the minority. You seem to like branding people as "anti-Sideshow whiners" but I think most people just want to feel like they're getting a fair deal and would be satisfied with a simple explanation. I think I would.

Sadly, I don't think they're in the minority. The minority are the people who understand prices go up and you pay it or don't. You and others like putting words in my mouth because I'm not labeling anyone anything. Though there are people who are "anti-Sideshow Whiners" and its pretty obvious without me labeling them.

If you don't feel like you're getting a fair deal then don't buy it or wait till its cheaper. Otherwise there is no need for an explanation plain and simple. No other major company in any field offers reasons for the price hikes on their items. I don't ask them for one nor expect it and I don't do the same with SS. I either buy their product or show them I don't like the hike and pass.

Prices do go up. I think that GG mini-busts have been creeping up in price almost constantly. Same with DCD.

But I think since SSC is seen as being more customer-sensitive people are expecting some communication when prices go up. Personally I probably wouldn't have noticed if it hadn't been made a big deal. $55-65 is about what I'd expect to pay and more for armored characters, just like LotR figures are more because they're more complicated.

That's the weird thing about SW collectors. They'll pay any price to get more stuff, but they certainly aren't quiet about it. Way I see it, $65 for Han is no thing. It's not that I don't have better things to spend money on, it's just that the figures are still worth it in the end.

When other companies are over $100 for their figures, even with the price increase, SSC is still the most affordable company to collect.

They're not quiet about it at all. :lol We all have better things to spend our money on but for me SS figs are VERY much worth it at the price they currently sit at. Now, if they start reacing $130+ all the time then I'll have to revisit how many I buy.

That's how I feel as well. The current price for a very nice Han figure is more than fine for me, very much worth the cost. If things go over the $100 mark, then things get a bit harder. Which is why I have to be so choosy with my HT purchases.
