Tried to resist but these look so cool so I POed a Vet and a 501 trooper. Now that they're doing straight up Clone Wars figures (I know they have for awhile but now the bases say it for sure) I hope Phase 2 Rex isnt't far behind, maybe even at SDCC hoping these clones don't wrap me back into SW b/c I'd have to do some major back tracking

I preordered 2 each of the Veteran, Shiny and 212th. I already have a couple of the original 212th (exclusive and regular) so these will get customized in some way. The Vet and Shinies will go on the shelf to pad out my display at first though they will probably get customized in some way as well.

No interest in the 501st though.

212th being Sideshow exclusive, that makes sense. I guess this variant won't make it to overseas retailers like all recent SSC ex. then

I can already pre-order the 212th at a local retailer here, I live in the Netherlands. I doubt it will stay as exclusive as they like.

Funny how they have done up $50 from the phase 1...the "Shiney" version cant justify that much of a price increase...sad.

Original Phase one trooper also had no extra hands, and just the two guns.

Really like the Veteran one. Ordered this. I have 2 of the previous 501st and 212nd. Need another Shock Trooper though. Would love for SSC to make that one again.

I see it too somewhat... Not sure but somethings seems different... Also notice the shoulder armor on the old is longer and the new version is much more profound?

Also I would like to note, I'm glad I paid for my Commander Cody when it originally hit market. It was $124.99 and had all hands, 2 weapons (3 if you include pistols), portrait, 2 helmets and was cheaper. I may not like the price for regulars, but that's what TA is for so I can sell accessories or barter on the boards.

It's still pretty awesome though. I don't know if it was reworked so much as improved on their paint app. I could be mistaken but I have found that in repainting several SS Heads, a little paint goes a looooooooooong way.
