I do love the I.E.D. and the accessories are indeed awesome. It's a shame they're overlooked because Sideshow (unnecessarily) went way off the reservation on Firefly himself.
With all of the complaining in this thread, I haven't seen much praise for the awesome accessories. The IED exclusive is very awesome, as is the case with the explosives. Both seem like things Jack Bauer would even be called in to stop. Very cool

there is no doubt...they been ruining almost everything joe lately

I really would like to know what influence/control they have on this line. I mean, it is their property so I guess they really can tell Sideshow what to do if they want to make these. I mean were Waypoint 12 and Cobra Throne tests for the Hasbro market? Would people buy a $130 wall or a $200 chair in 1:6 scale? Would have mean they'd buy a $20 or $50 playset? Would going with new designs for characters sell well? For all we know this line is just marketing research for Hasbro.

If that was true, then SE,Storm Shadow and Cobra Troopers could be considered the counter argument? IMO, I think SS tried doing something different.

I highly doubt it. But it's good to know that they have a built-in scapegoat for apologists ala Lucasfilm with the SW & INDY lines.

Why would Hasbro tell SSC to make FF with a non-camo mask and a hoodie? SSC has stated they have all kinds of versions of characters to draw inspiration from. They're picking and choosing (and in some cases making up) the designs as they see fit.

I'm actually cool with that. SSC however needs to just be open to the criticism and be able to adjust on the fly when the ???? hits the fan. Luckily for SSC among the decisions on Firefly that many fans don't like there is a relative easy change that can be made that will calm a large group of complaintants.

i'm doubting this "review" process is very intense. besides, approval and control are 2 different things. just because they signed off on it doesn't mean they told them to do it,

true. i guess. but whats your point? the product is flawed. ssc manufactures and sells the product, complaints are best directed to SSC.

yeah i get that but they are regulated by hasbro on what they can and cant do, and the product is not flawed, you guys just dont like they way its done. the details are awesom, paint is sharp, its just not the done the way you guys want, doesnt mean its "Flawed"

No one is saying he is flawed. We are upset because we were shown concept art that was spot on to the original character figure and give something different.
