err, double post

I wouldn't. While the card art kicks all kinds of ass, lots of those poses won't translate too well to 3D.

Hey, it gives me another excuse to have it re-painred.:)

Good luck. Les just announced today that he's not taking work anymore. I have a feeling all the douchebaggy, impatient, entitlement morons finally got to him, so yet another fine artist taps. Seems ATM, with all these ____tard kids that don't understand art takes time, everyone would be best to just get the ____ out'a Dodge. :(

I contacted an artist already. He wasnt taking any more commmisions, but said he would take mine because he would like to take a shot at Duke and Flint. He is supposed to let me know in 2 weeks to give me the details. I just hope he doesnt change his mind.

This figure looks good - it seems that weird beret-accommodating head shape aside, the sculpt is good though somewhat held back by the paint apps - similar to Duke. I'm working on a Duke repaint and look forward to doing the same for Flint. Will post pics when done.

Question to those that have him - are the pants the same cut as Duke? I swapped those out as they were too tight at the waist and legs, and seemed too short. Made him look a bit unnatural.

Exactly the same. Narrow at the hips and wide up to the elastic bottom, with the fake "blousing."

overall, i really like him. looks a lot better in-hand. the beret on mine has some bad mold lines/imperfections, etc right by the patch but it is really noticeable in pics from the other angle. don't know if it's worth trying to get a replacement or just trimming it down. other than that he is good. i added a belt to his pants and then put the gun belt on. i will also probably put some new pants on him that are a little longer.

i haven't put on tags yet. couple of quick, non-futzed pics outside...

Cool figure. As others have said, not perfect, but really good. I rolled the sleeves up a bit higher on mine, and tried to open his shirt up a bit. I wish he had buttons instead of the Velcro there. . .

Here is what the Hasbro beret looks like on him. Interestingly, it is more detailed than the Sideshow one:

Flint: "Yo Joe!!"
Snake Eyes: ". . ."

i hear you. i was gonna go through the trouble of futzing the shirt on mine to get the neck to show, but i just decided to cancel the whole figure instead.:monkey1

Did you have to clean your shorts yet???

Yeah. I put the Hasbro beret on mine for ____s and giggles too, but the damn thing's too big and it just looks like a Hasbro $15 figure's beret. :lol

Mine will be here tomorrow:yess:, I got a couple of DML flocked berets I'm gonna try. Thanks the photos everyone, it makes the east coast wait a little easier!
