That is a big fat NO!

I'm guessing they're hoping any delay on their end will hopefully translate into customers changing their minds and just accepting the defects as is or with a marginal partial credit.

Has anyone heard back from Sideshow about their replacement requests yet?

Yes, they contacted me today and said they didn't receive the pictures I sent in the contact email, so I just resent them about an hour ago.
Just have patience, they'll respond.

It's funny you say that because I just got the same response from them that they didn't receive my pictures after I had carefully uploaded them. It took about 7 days to actually hear back from them also which I guess is OK since they more than likely don't have a large Customer Service staff.

Hopefully the process takes is not to much longer from hear on out.

Where is all the pictures, I am waiting to see more of them to make my decision

Exactly, I want to see pics of him posed with Hot toys Deadpool. Overall this figure looks very nice but whats putting me off right now is just the price and the QC issues people are having.

Initially, when I saw your pics I was "those are just part of the molding process it's not a big deal." I just received the knock-off version and it has none of those mold marks on the boots. Aside from one of the fins being slightly curved the heads nice too. You need to get that replaced.

I still haven't heard back from Sideshow about my sculpts. This is my first and probably last time buying a Sideshow figure.

I called them again today (3rd time) at 2:15 pacific time (5:15 in NY) and they finally picked up!

I spoke with a very nice guy named Daniel.

I went down the list with him.

No phone pick up for 2 days.
Horrible online chat with them that moved nothing forward.
How I felt that their lack of communication made me think that they were delaying to buy time hoping customers would just keep the defective product.
No confirmation email for the exchange request form I had sent in.

I almost said screw it just give me a full refund but he was a nice person and heard me out so I decided against that and went with the exchange.

Now just waiting on the shipping labels to be emailed to me.

SS needs to stop using their small staff excuse over and over and just hire more people, they're not selling marvel legends.

Well even though Daniel said that the UPS labels would be emailed immediately and his email confirmed this:

"Look for an automated email we have just sent with instructions and a prepaid shipping label for the return of the piece."

It was not emailed to me.

sigh

If I don't receive it by Monday 4:30 pm pacific time and i'm forced to call them once again that will be it for me, just give me my full refund they can keep their Wolverine.

I hope the people spending thousands there are getting better customer service than i'm experiencing.

If they give me the run around like that I'll have to end up selling mine. I used $110 in rewards so shipping it back isn't an option for me.

I put in the request on Monday and didn't hear a thing back all week. From now on I'm sticking to HT from them.

Can you heat the head up and un curve the fin?
