victory! :yess:

How does "Inception" make more than "The Other Guys" and come in 4th?

ya see, we dont like inception round these parts :lol

You know.....I think this movie might suck after all. I was so for it 100%, but all the problems I sense are coming through....and pretty much everyone with some good taste in film hated it....I almost passed off that notion...but if this is correct, then wow. I dunno....

:dunno

I have to see it again.

Liked it but didn't love it. The movie seemed very rushed and the cgi stabbings, gunshots and fire looked TERRIBLE. It was kewl seeing Sly, Arnold and Bruce in the same scene together. Rourke telling the story of the jumper was real good. Almost Quint like.

Liked it, didn't love it. Sly loves that CGI blood (hated it in the last Rambo too) and it did look cheap. Weapons were kewl, especially Crews'. Probably a pass on HT figures, though I wouldn't mind a decent Statham sculpt from them for a Turkish bash.

I think this is the best review so far....really hit all the issues with me.

Man this movie is awesome...though they de-powered Jet Li a bit. I love Dolph Lundgren but Van Damme would have been great against Jet Li.

Well... call me crazy but I absolutely loved it!!!
:rock:rock:rock!!
Very few movies have delivered what they promise this year IMO... and this one does!!
My favorite characters were Dolph's, Rourke's and Stathamn's!
Good times!!

My only gripe was
the editing during the Li vs. Lundgren fight...
It was a bit confusing and hard to tell what was going on...

But other than that
Loved it!

Great movie-- reminds me of the good ol' days before everything was CGI'd and wired in fights...

Don't get me wrong, I liked it, it was entertaining.

But it's sad that I only know the characters as Stallone, Li, Dolph, Rourke, etc.

Look at the past classics, we know them as Indy, Rocky, Rambo, Dillon, Billy, Mclane, Vader, Luke, Sallah, Ripley, Hicks, Sarah, Conan, so on and so forth....heck, even Greedo :lol

This movie was indeed fun, but what were the characters name again :lol

Will I remember the characters 20 years from now, heck.....even a year from now?

The movie just drops you in and then you don't even need to know or care who they are, they're just nameless big dudes who are going to show you a good time with how bad ass they are, and that they were, no doubt in my mind that it was a fun rollercoaster of an action movie for the 105 minutes running time.

But now i'm home and all I remember is the cool shotgun or the awesome double neck break but what were the characters name again who were doing all that cool stuff?

Oh well, it was fun for when it lasted....I should be happy for that :lol

Some rollercoaster rides just last a-lot longer than others I guess, some even last a life time.

I wish I could take Raiders of the Lost Ark and Empire Strikes Back and add the gore of today, that truly would be the ultimate peanut butter chocolate movie for me :lol

I'm such a gore addict, it's sad :lol

Maybe they didn't wanna overshadow anyone in the movie by giving any of them really iconic names? :dunno

ludicrous I know.

Though I remember most of their names.

Only cause

Arnold's first line was Stallone's :D

Rourke made a joke about Statham's

Statham made a poem about Rourke's (and it's the name of his parlor)

Dolph's cause they said it a buncha times.

oh and The names are

Sly - Barney Ross
Statham - Lee Christmas
Crews - Hael Ceasar
Li - Ying Yang
Rourke - Tool
Dolph - Gunner
Couture - Toll Road
