Why did they tie this story with the TLJ before the film even released
It’s all very minor. I’m sure the one you are freaking out over is a red herring. I highly doubt it is what it looks like it could be. Too important to tie a major movie to a video game IMO.

Oh yeah, they'll wait a bit til things calm down and put it back in. They're counting on every one buying it who cancelled then turn the in game purchases on again.
Gaming consumers have no long term fiscal discipline. The EA suits will bide their time, patient are they.
Ummm..did you see the story mode..saw the entire thing already on YouTube ..it’s hardly a red herring and now I don’t like the possible assumptions of Rey’s parents from the story mode.
This will truly suck if this is true ..the fact that people are assuming ...aww hell if you saw the story mode ending , you know what I mean.

Whew thank the maker it was brought up here it made me stop playing the story mode until after TLJ.
Crap I just stumbled on the YouTube clip of the Story Mode scene where Rey Fett watches evil Maz kill Luke.

But then I don't regard the Sequel Trilogy as canon, so it's irrelevant to the OT.
It's either a surprise or a giant red herring. And you'd think the might machine driving Star Wars wouldn't let something like that slip.

Other than the speculation. I think the story mode was visually a work of art and if a live action film of this storyline is an idea for Disney. I would love to see that on the big screen. I freaked out when I saw the bts on YouTube and they showed the actors who did the voiceovers..man did they nail these actors

Unfortunately not every parent is as responsible as you and I. There's a lot of ****ing deadbeat parents out there.
Good news though EA have removed all microtransactions and loot crates from the game due to the enormous backlash. Rumor is since the mainstream media picked up the story (the latest being CNN) Disney didn't want to be linked with the story and threatened EA with revoking their exclusivity deal.
Who said that people can't stand up to greedy corporations? Occasionally the little guys get a win.
They have said microtransactions will return at some point but they're unsure in what form. I want the game but I will be holding off until they reveal what their plans are.

How dozens of executives and hundreds of high and mid level managers spent all that time and money building in the poorly camouflaged greed just to then be forced to stop it only 2 days after release.
Amazing how greed so easily blinds.
Banks and pharmaceutical companies behave the same way.
Now is Disney so big that they had no clue EA/DICE were implementing that system.
Heads are going to roll especially this close to TLJ.
Just because you have an MBA does it mean you’re smart.

Just because i’m debating the legal definition of gambling does it mean i’m a fan of these greedy practices, I am not.
I’m laughing because IGN spent $100 on the loot crates and they reported back their findings.
They said the system should be called “Pay to Lose” because they got robbed lol
You actually have the advantage if you DON’T buy the loot crates lol
So they don’t allow people to buy crystals for now but we still have an awful loot crate progression system with a pathetic credit earning rate for an unbearable grind. Fix that and we’ve got an awesome game.
