I see this is common dilemma for collectors. If I had the DX16/17, I’d simply cut my losses and upgrade. The 2.0 is so much better (imo).

It’s an occurrence I’ll experience once INART comes out with their TDK Batman and I’ll have to let my DX19 go for a loss (which I got it on discount in the first place), but I’ll put that money towards the upgrade and be happier with the better version. It’s not like I threw away money too, cause the DX19 essentially was worth it as I enjoyed it during my ownership too.

Yeah Im absolutely selling my Maul for the new one. I dislike having more than one look for the same character, so I have literally no use for it. Just been too lazy to list it lol.

I'm enough of a fan of the character, I'll hold onto both. May change the display up and have multiples of the same character if the looks are different enough (e.g. cloak or no cloak). The cloak would definitely stay on the v1.

Definitive IF they improve the eyes, making the iris larger and pupil smaller. The Sideshow SS and most statues get this detail right, so I'm hoping HT comes through. I doubt it though.

Looks outstanding. I love the flat expression for the "come at me bros" poses. It'll be a tough to decide what pose and expression this ends up on my shelf in...

I regret not going for the Deluxe set with Bloodfin. Perhaps I call up my LCS and ask if they have anymore, see if I can upgrade…

These are probably my favorite shots. I’ll probably end up posing him with the full hooded/robed look.

I never got the 1.0, so I’m very stoked to have my first TPM Maul in the collection (have Solo Maul). The likeness to Ray Park is strong. If they had made the yellow irises larger and made them more glowy, would’ve been ace.

Nah, for Maul the stand makes sense actually. Allows for dynamic posing.

True. But I'm still replacing it. I can get plenty of dynamic poses with something smaller. Real estate is the name of the game when collecting 1/6, sadly.

Neutral sculpt is a big winner. The angry one seems to have lost something in production.
