I agree there was probably hitting that topic too much, but i was so happy to hear here that rays dad was a failed clone, and my evil cold blooded ruthless emperor never had sex-cause it made no sense for me. it actually helped me enjoy the movie more and to accept Rey's lightswitch force powers. Its also explained that wierd cave scene in last jedi- the mirror reflection was herself because outside of her mother she had no true parents-she was derived from a clone. Plus it would make sense that cloning would not transfer force sensitive genes, otherwise Palps would have made an army of force sensitive troopers- there has to be some limitation of cloning- which is why the sith eternal kept trying and trying to make the perfect host clone that inherited the power and thus be a suitable host for palps to transfer into.. We all assumed the ****ed up version of palps we saw was a clone even if it wasnt explicitly stated in the movie, we saw all the cloning **** so i was like damn i really hope that son is a clone cause the implication that this evil ruthless badass would be intimate with a women (especially when you can tell he gets off on shooting his lightning) ruins the emperor for me - as the cunning dude that would not risk anything that could strip him of his power. And again having a kid during jedi before he falls down shaft makes no sense- he would have immediately killed that kid or took him as a new apprentice. The reason the clone got away was because palps knew he had no force power- he was disgusted by him and wanted him out of his site- then when he found out he married he decided he had to kill him in case he had offspring- which is why he sent the bounty hunter to murder them. The explanation for anakins conceptions also hints at the fact that palpatine may have had something to do with it suggesting" he used dark force magic to manipulate the force to create life and impregnate" Smi, i highly doubt he showed up in the middle of the night to rape her- cause smi would have remembered this traumatic experience and wouldn't said there is no father. If he didnt have the son before he was tossed down the shaft then the timeline doesnt work at all,- it would be impossible for that imperfect cloned version he was trapped in to have sex stuck on that apparatus.

lol ya i get that. I probably should have said why i hate the idea of palps having a natural born son first and then cited the novel approved retcon from the story group. I was shocked when it was met with resistance here to be honest, cause I wrongly assumed everyone else hated the fact that disney retconned in a kid for palps- the same ruthless mother ****er that only care about power and protecting the power he had, and who was bound to that rule of two for a reason- He even killed his own parents (who didnt have force power) because they could out him, he would never trust having a son in my mind- its just not how he operated. Also it solves the other huge complaint people had with the ST Rey's lightswitch powers, there weren't so lightswitch after all since once Palpatines cloned son had offspring the natural way, those force genes unlocked. So ya Rey being the most power jedi we have ever seen makes sense now because she was a direct descendant of palpatine's clone and her force affinity unlocked the minute she was born naturally into the world and past on to her. Much like Luke Leia and Ben Solo all born naturally inheriting their parents affinity for the force. Based on all we have scene in canon we can infer kids inherit force powers when they are born naturally, however nothing in any of the movies shows clones can inherit these powers, as i mentioned before palps would have made a force sensitive clone army if if this was possible or even attempted to clone vader before obi wan ****ed him up. It just opens up even more plot holes, by suggesting he conceived a son in the natural way yet the son didnt inherit any of his force affinity, that would be an outlier in the skywalker universe cause all naturally born children have been shown to inherit this power. There is no explanation as to why his son, if he was born naturally, did not inherit this power yet was still able to pass on to the force affinity gene to Rey, when neither his wife or him possessed it. This brings us back to lightswitch force power marry sue rey, that nobody likes. Had they thought this out properly and had the balls to call him a clone, but i can see KK saying know she aint clone she is perfect woman, then those scenes in the last jedi would make way more sense, her ability to shoot force lightning then also explain inheriting powers from a father that had none
I figure any sex palps has is non consensual. Which dehumanizes him even more.

I hope Jye and Khev realize that the reason this thread is still active is cause they kept trying to poke fun at different aspect of Star wars people liked to get people back in the thread. If I remember correctly like back in april it was just them tugging it out over there love for the ST and crapping on the PT. Then they brought in ROTJ and countless other things and so here we are.
It's not cause the movie was well-liked or anything. You guys successfully baited people into the thread. Myself included. I couldn't help but defend the ROTS honor.
So congrats Khev and Jye for having the only active discussion of this movie still going since December.

took some poor girl and went down a really dark path and that she was nothing more then throw away trash. She finds out that got pregnant becomes scared of what he might do and she had the child on the other side of the galaxy ( my logic lol ).. But Go with what u want it to be.. i don?t care... I was not trying to convince you that it wasn?t... I just was stating how I see it by what the movie tells us.
Jealous of what obi wan- no he felt betrayed by her at that point, like she picked obi wan's side over his. Now if you got back to ATOC there was a deleted scene showing him getting jealous and angry with rage. However that was well before he completely gave himself up to the darkside, the only lust sith have is for power, again sex is nothing to them, its insignificant. They get off only on power, when palpatine is shooting his lighting thats his orgasm, his sexual pleasure, they dont get pleasure anymore from the basic things of life its all in exerting their power. Before obi wan even showed him self in mustafar he had already lost padme, she say's anakin your scaring me, i dont know you anymore, please come back. I cant go down the path you want me to go. It was over them, he probably would have ended up killing her anyway even if Obi wan didnt show up, he was gone, his lust for power was all that consumed him, this is the way of the sith.
Ya thats a good explanation but palps would have found her and killed her immediately, his reach had no limits, and he didnt leave any angles open that could come back to get him. Again the only reason he allowed the clone to live was because he was worthless in his eyes, not a threat to him, he just didnt think the clone would find a girl and have a baby or if he did have a baby he wouldnt attempt to hid it from him. The minute the son did that it was over, palp had him killed. He knew that his powers could be past on to the child of his clone and it would be a threat to him. Again he only kept the clone alive to propagate the blood line in more natural means, but when the son tried to hide his true heir, he knew the threat it posed so he had them hunted down and killed. Why he didn't keep searching for rey is beyond me especially when he knew they had a child or maybe he didn't but you expect if can reach kylo ren he could use the force to find out he has biological offspring out there
