Here's a radical opinion, from the aptly named site Inverse:

Star Wars makes no sense, except for the prequels

Interesting read that I don't disagree with.. The world building in the PT is the best thing about it by far. Its one of the reasons I think TCW is as interesting as it is. For me TCW was the best thing that happened to the PT because IMO the PT did not do its job with the characters. Watching the TCW gave me a better appreciation for Anakin, Obi Wan, Count Dooku, General Grievous, and the clone wars themselves and thus helped me to enjoy the PT more.


The article argues that the PT has more interest because of the Obi Wan show and Ahsoka announced to be in the Mandalorian and then goes on to say nobody is waiting for a Wedge Antillies show... True but I bet a Show about Boba Fett would be HUGE. How about Vader?? I mean he picks Wedge Though I personally would love it

Also I don't completely agree with the article saying interest in a Obi Wan spin off is because of the PT. Ben is an OT character and I am interested in it because it leads to the OT. It should take place in a galaxy that feels more like the OT and not the PT.. Kind of like the feel of the Mandalorian.

IMO people would love to see more about the OT characters. TFA was proof of that.. I get that you cant get the OT cast for shows like The Mandalorian. A big part of Solo's failure IMO is the fact that people cant separate Ford from the part. Talk of Obi wan show still involves Ewen and you can cast

I do think that the OT could have more done with it.. I personally would love to see an TCW animated type series that takes place between ANH and ESB or ESB and ROTJ or one after ROTJ. Just get some decent voice actors.. I would be on board for sure

Honestly there is not much too do with the ST. TFA and TLJ are back to back. Maybe there could be something between TLJ and TROS but in all honesty.. The lack of world building in the ST does not leave a lot of room for that. I mean the PT had a million characters to work with.. The ST.. Had its core and that was about it.

Though I would not mind TV series about Poe and Finn and the adventures they may have had between TLJ and TROS. Those two have legit chemistry and I would like to see more of them on the screen together. Actually all three have chemistry but Rey has been training with Leia so there is not much to tell there.

It is khev. It?s been proven already. TLJ sucked so much he created a new identity. One that was an ST fanboy and the other a ST Disney hater.

He wears the mask to protect you JYe. Cause khev gives you hope that your not the only one who likes the ST.

Yep agreed on the use of the fan footage for that one shot. Everything else was perfect and now it makes me want to binge the entire Saga again too, lol.

Guys i know you love star wars as much of the rest of us but that video didnt fix anything. All that is is confirmation bias, it melds with your preconceived notions of tros and he st so naturally it makes sense to you, if you hated the st And tros it wouldnt change anything.

Not only that but some of you hate maz and she starts off the narration lol

Confirmstion bias at work, you hear maz voice but it doesnt immediatly turn you off to the point you close video, you want to hear more and then lighswitch its not a hate peice, they agree with your opinion so of course you enjoy and agree with it. You'd be hard pressed to find people that hate a new hope or Esb like they do the ST or PT. Honestly, Its how humans work- I wouldn't expect you guys to think otherwise of this video. Its the same thing you guys do when you come across videos glorifying how great the PT is (you turn them off and roll eyes), but PT lovers love those videos.

The fact is the ST failed because it created factions that fall into either two categories "love" or Hate" (similar to the PT) nothing in the OT was like this ( most people loved it or at the very least was entertained by both of them) so you cannot say the ST were good movies because the overwhelming majority of star wars fan's do not perceive them in this way. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that hates a new hope or esb outside of my mom (who is close to 80 years old) but she is a poor example because she just hates star wars in general like most older woman (they think its stupid and just for men/boys).
