It's a different world as far as toys go now. Kids are mostly fixated on iPads and electronics. Every line of action figures has suffered. Toys R Us closing down should be a big hint to that.

Not really. Toys r us was gonna go bankrupt in the early 00s and KBs closed down in the early 00s to. Toys are still doing good. Marvel and Jurassic Park are selling out. Toys r us made bad buissness decisions. They are still open in Canada

I don't know about Jurassic Park, but I've seen the Avengers toys, and the pegs seem to be 100% full, all the time.

Best buy almost went bankrupt too, lots of stores have "almost" gone bankrupt. Unless your Amazon or Walmart, most stores eventually go through some kind of economic crisis at one time or another. It just comes down to whether they can right the ship.

He does seem a little unhinged.

Also, his reasoning is flawed. In the OT we accepted Palpatine as “the main bad guy” and didn’t really need to know any more than that.

In the ST, because Palpatine has come and gone and we’ve since seen his entire back story, it’s natural to wonder where his apparent heir Snoke came from.

Star Wars Episode IX will only be good if there is any Vader stuff in it. It'd be cool to explore Vader's Castle some more and have flashback scenes of him. Now from what I've seen of The Mandalorian on YouTube it looks really superb.

The SW amusement park at Disneyland and Disney World

The SW amusement park that for some reason decided to build a generic SW land as opposed to immersing fans in the locations seen onscreen, OT especially.

Yeah, don't understand why they'd build a world that's not in Star Wars. Do Mos Eisley, Do Yavin, hell, Do Naboo.

I can't tell you how giddy I would be walking through a recreated Mos Eisley spaceport, complete with cantina and docking bay 94.

I don't know, I'm still looking forward to the experience.

And I'm glad they aren't going to "ruin" previous OT worlds by having them on display at Disneyland, with cosplay actors and trash cans and fat-***** in those mobile carriages and crap food and all the other junk that comes with "the happiest place on Earth".

Kids do not play with toys for the duration we did. Maybe from 5-9 they play with action figures, and LEGO has been the champ in that department for a while.

JP toys are being bought by adults.

I have kids and know alot of kids, the age of “playing” with anything as we know it is shrinking and the digital playground is taking over.

Hell kids as young a 4-5 no longer play with toys. Once the xbox or PS can be managed , they are done with real toys.

Thats a fact. And thats why TRU went under. Even Gamestop is doomed now because of streaming downloads.

Unfortunately the way of the world is turning to streaming for so many things. I like having physical media and items but each generation is getting less and less stuff that way. So many companies are slowly dying due to streaming.

I liked toys AND video games as a kid, I was greedy and spoilt that way. Toys won out in the end. I haven't played a computer game since the early days of Playstation 2.
