Kids do not play with toys for the duration we did. Maybe from 5-9 they play with action figures, and LEGO has been the champ in that department for a while.

JP toys are being bought by adults.

I have kids and know alot of kids, the age of “playing” with anything as we know it is shrinking and the digital playground is taking over.

Hell kids as young a 4-5 no longer play with toys. Once the xbox or PS can be managed , they are done with real toys.

Thats a fact. And thats why TRU went under. Even Gamestop is doomed now because of streaming downloads.

Nah. Kids still play with toys it’s toys r us that made a bad decision. And I see lots of kids with JP figures and avenger figures. Star Wars just doesn’t sell to children as well anymore.

But streaming is taking over and we probably won’t see toys in the future. GameStop of course will suffer cause of streaming. It’s better to stream I suppose

I have 2 kids, a 10 year old and a 4 year old. The 10 year old, while we bought her toys, never had a very big interest in them. Luckily the 4 year old plays with everything her older sister had and everything we buy her. I think my 4 year old is the exception. When I take my little one to the toy section, it's far more common for me to see adults there by themselves, than to see children.

I think men might actually buy more toys than kids.

Yup...if ya don't have kids you probably don't realize what kids are really into...I think actual parents who raise children may know...you may show up with some action figures thinking you're the cool uncle but not realize that after you leave that stuff is going in the bottom of the closet never to be seen again. As Xipotec said...once kids get over the age of 3 if its not digital they are not interested.

For the record, 2 kids, 18 nieces and nephews.....

9 grand nieces and nephews...

I can't tell you how giddy I would be walking through a recreated Mos Eisley spaceport, complete with cantina and docking bay 94.

:exactly:

What a lost opportunity. I assumed it would be a couple of places from OT, PT and ST but we get this sort of elevator muzak SW location. Kinda sounds a bit like the song, but not.

But hey, we'd probably have ended up with a Holiday Special cantina, not an ANH one.

Unfortunately the way of the world is turning to streaming for so many things. I like having physical media and items but each generation is getting less and less stuff that way. So many companies are slowly dying due to streaming.

Yeah... my kids stopped playing with physical toys years ago. These days, if it ain't on a screen, it doesn't matter.

The only toys in my household are dad's.:horror:lol

Interesting.... well I don’t have kids so I hope that in a few yrs toys will be a thing of the past. I’d still like to collect in my old age

How an evil Sith who masters the force should be. The man took on whole armies by himself. He was a monster. They didn’t have the technology to show this in the 70s. He could barely lift his arms up lol

Lol I’m a big Vader fan. I’d probably do something like that. Then everyone will hate me

Couldn't disagree more. Over here toys are still very relevant for kids.

Whether they live at home or not.
