Unless they debut glasses free 3D with it i?m not going.

Maybe HFR 3D will be the gimmick this time who knows.

I never cared about any of those characters I went because i?m a tech geek.

Yeah, that's what I thought. :lol

Wait, you actually saw the first one in a theater? I don't think I was even tempted, but then my son was away at college and my daughter was a senior in HS (i.e., at the age where she wouldn't be caught dead at a movie with her dad), so my usual movie going companions weren't available. :lol

The Russo Bros stood on the shoulders of Stan Lee and all previous MCU directors.

J.J. Abrams stood on the shoulders of George Lucas.

Cameron stood on his own damn shoulders!

when they do they will not do fantastic box office- most kids these days don't even know what Avatar is...

Sure they do - it's a small profile pic on their Instagram and Twitter accounts.:monkey3

You forgot Peter Jackson and Tolkien.:lecture

Can we get the old forum back? This place is a mess.

Sorry only thread I can post on, between blocked ISP, SLQ failure and login failures, its impossible to read and post.

Avatar is a really bad movie with amazing 3D.

But i?ll give him Terminator and Aliens.

But if we?re just talking Avatar here then Cameron pales in comparison to what Lucas gave the world in 77/80.

Cameron has 1 great sequel on his resume the Russo?s have 3!

What the Russo?s accomplished with the team over at Marvel is nothing short of a miracle regardless of Marvel?s foundation.

If we?re going to judge based on foundation then Cameron owes Corman quite alot.

Cameron has 2 great sequels then, no? Aliens (to someone else's original film) and T2 (to his own). I know you love T2, you're not like that Kara fella or that JAWS guy.

Cameron's actual record is still great, he's just lost some rep in the intervening 50 years since he last gave us a new theatrical motion picture to watch.

I was going off by sequel to a movie he made part 1.

Alien don?t count.

T2 obviously does.

Russo have 3 consecutive great sequels after their TWS that?s insane!

That would be like Cameron giving us an excellent T2, T3 and T4!!!!!!!

So saw a blurb from a recent Rian Johnson interview in which he says that he honored Star Wars by deconstructing it. Reminded me of that statement from Zatch Snyder’s wife about BvS - something like “fans don’t want to see their heroes deconstructed.

Made me think about my desk. I’ve had it for years and really like it. Know what I wouldn’t like? If someone deconstructed it. Because then it’s not a desk any more. It’s just a pile of crap.
