Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

A lot of discussion about the Sea Cows today. I've concluded that the teet milking is Rey's equivalent of Luke facing Vader on Dagobah. Just as Luke failed in the cave Rey also failed to maintain eye contact with the open teet Sea Cow. However she was able to remember her failure, channel her focus and stand her ground when addressing her true enemy, Kylo Ren's bare nipples.

Guess the Luke milking a sea camel is the most hated Star Wars moment lol

Didn't mind it, felt like a reference to the old school blue milk. It only felt like a huge "**** you" after watching the whole train wreck unfold.

I didn't mind the scene either, I thought it was funny. The Mary Poppins Leia is the worst for me, and unfortunately funny as well.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Can’t believe the sea cow was actually something they made and not CGI. Johnson said they had to bring it attached to cables flown in by a helicopter to Ireland :horror

Watching again there is no way I believe that Snoke is gone. He was strong enough to push Rey around easily how can he die that quick. They are tricking the fans :lecture

Not buying it

Well, since Kennedy set up no outline/guidelines to follow for the directors, it's all up to JJ. Maybe he'll change everything and **** up Ep8 just like Johnson didn't seem to give a **** about anything JJ set up in Ep7. Such a great way to make movies.. It's now an ego contest between these 2 for the favor of Kennedy, mine is better than yours. :lol

But no matter what, there's nothing JJ can do to screw up EP9 after what happened in Ep8, especially since all the OT guys are gone. Poor Chewie, R2 & 3PO are the only one's left on the chopping block, & the Falcon of course. I'd rather see them all blow up in a fiery ball than Rey boss them around going forward. They should all die with Leia together on one final journey...

Now i’m confused, Rian said in the commentary nothing about those brats at the end being Jedi or force users ..he said they were more of hope that Luke created

Boy does JJ need to straighten out this mess :thud:

Exactly, we’ll see what they make up

That certainly puts Luke tickling Rey with the blade of grass into a new light.:dunno:lol

Or Empire Strikes Back...

If the internet was around during ESB, it would be burning up with questions - plot questions, character questions, "what did he mean by that?!" questions, where the story could possibly go from here questions, (burning desire for more merchandise questions)... and rage that we have to wait so long for the answers.

Kind of like with TLJ.:monkey3

Yeah I think I still have that 20th anniversary one. The 20th anniversary of the 20th anniversary has been and gone.

The best thing I did was put mine in a magazine sized comic book bag and board at the time, .not sure if those are still around these days but if I get mine out of storage, i’m pretty sure it’s still in good condition because those bags are made to last :wink1:
