I?m sure she made the lightsaber better. Probly bypassed the compressor.
Old but now classic...

No idea at this point. Someone once mentioned somewhere on here that his arc is coming to the realization that his place is in the Resistance and no longer being a man on the run, but it seems like kind of a weak arc to me. His character seemed like it regressed from TFA to TLJ.

Would of been better if they used finn as a person who see?s good in both the order and resistance. Ya know since he grew up with the them he could have strong connections and friends he doesn?t want to betray and people who are good but are forced to do wrong by the first order.

But that would require thinking and that?s something these idiots didn?t plan on when throwing this together. Just kinda put it out once they got the keys and started going crazy

i forget this movie is coming out in less than a month, the irony was that i was counting down the days for TFA and Rogue One, even the last jedi gave me some hope but now i could careless if i ever see this now

That kind of sucks too.

Ur gonna get arrested for exposing ur daughter to adult content:horror - srsly have ur read the Cats articles re "disturbing" "drug-induced insanity"...

https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/film-tv/a28446498/cats-trailers-memes-tweets/

C'mon, u can hook up with me and my bro at the mega-mall to watch SW instead - we'll safely tuck ur daughter between the pre-teen fangirls waiting to see more of Adam Driver's *hes-so-hawt-even-with-the-moles* naked waxed chest and high-waist pants, and the frazzled father with the screaming toddler that just pitched their sippy cup 6 rows away.

Look, if we do a matinee ur daughter will have enough cash left over to get a SW Funko POP at Hot Topic, and u won't have to pay for the therapy and suffer parental guilt the rest of ur life.

:rotfl

Nah not really. It?s looking at both sides of the empire and resistance and sympathizing with some of the storm troopers. Besides clones we never really dove into the world of them hitch is much worse imo sense they are just normal people taken on by the empire. It would create an interesting dynamic

This really bothers you huh? Lol

It does, but only because it's so prolific on every forum I go to.

People honestly don't seem to understand that "should of" is not the same as "should've" or "should have." The first few times I saw it, it didn't bother me, but now I can't unsee it. It's everywhere. It's like dozens of hands scraping their fingernails down a chalkboard.

The other error I see far, far more prevantly, that drives me even more nuts, is "loose" instead of "lose." People are either so dumb or so lazy that almost every time I see someone intend to write the word "lose" they write "loose." This is worse than nails on a chalkboard. Every time I see it, it's like a white hot jackhammer being driven right into my skull.

I have no doubt that within a few years time, "loose" will be an acceptable alternate spelling for "lose" and maybe in a few decades, we won't even use "lose" at all, anymore.

Anyway. That's enough grammar Nazi for today.

Lol I usually type on my phone when I?m on here so I don?t grammar check. I never did. I just type away.

Agreed.
Watching TFA I wondered how this shell-shocked, traumatised Stormtrooper, indoctrinated since his youth, who had lived all his life and grown up surrounded by his fellow Stormtroopers all of a sudden was gleefully blowing them up just minutes after hooking up with one of the Resistance's heroes...

Luv makes u stupid. But the Beatles were right, all u need is luv. Like it can make u a heroic pilot who can keep an old rust bucket more or less in a straight line, esp. when the clever Asian plumber-surprisingly-kickass-pilot tells u what to do (everyone KNOWS all Asians are great with tech stuff:monkey3). Even if in the previous film u needed to break a pilot out 'coz u needed a pilot and spent a lot of time unconscious.

Luv is all u need.

But he hadn't even met Rey yet when he and Poe made their escape. So you're saying he fell in love with Poe? Not that there's anything wrong with that...

My peeve lately is woman/women. I see it a lot in the current feminist V anti-feminist climate.

Definitely/defiantly is another one.

Rose literally crashed into his arc lol

Lose/loose
Definitely/defiantly
Regardless/irregardless
There/their/they’re
Couldn’t care less/could care less
ATM/ATM machine
Through/threw
Write/right
Or when someone puts an ‘s on everything ending with an s

I could go on all day. :lol

Although my biggest pet peeve is when someone makes a cogent argument, and in rebuttal, someone chooses to focus on and attack that person for a grammatical mistake as opposed to rebutting the premise of the argument. Someone using their instead of there imo doesn’t change the weight of what their argument is.

Unless the person making the argument touts how much more intelligent they are than everyone else. Then I’ll rebut their argument and hold them to their grammatical mistakes in that case.

Agree 100%, save for biggest pet peeve. Mine is the fact that these grammatical errors have become so commonplace and ingrained in our communications that I've seen them seep into my own posts, e-mails, etc.. We have met the enemy and he is us. :lol
