You think your hero Hamill cared about Otomofan’s life long connection to SW when he signed back on as Luke.

No, I don't think Lucas cared at all. He was burned and burned badly. He has a lot of anger in him for his former fans. He took his ball and went home and said scerw you guys....I don't care anymore and I hope you ALL get burned on crap you hate in the future. Me? I gave it my all and it wasn't good enough so **** you guys. I'm OUT.

Hamill, I believe he cares. I do. I don't know the guy. Never met him. Never will. But this character, this experience, this LIFE...it defined him for FORTY YEARS. By far more than half his life. By all accounts he's friendly and cordial and warm to fans (other than the autograph fees.) I feel he cares and he was crushed by what they did and what he knew his lifelong fans were about to witness.

He seems like a genuinely good human being and he's a lifelong fan of the genre, not just SW. I believe he cared about "me" and everyone else and it weighs heavily on him. I have no proof. I'm just another dork.

The *******s are Kennedy and Johnson, not Mark.

And you and Khev too, constantly trying to get lulz by pretending to love this insulting drivel cause it makes you giggle when you trigger REAL lifelong fans that are disgusted by this film.

If you’re hurt just by what Disney/Kennedy/Johnson did to your childhood, your safe place in this ugly world, your Luke and Hamill then it’s got to really suck knowing that it wasn’t only them that wanted Otomofan gone from SW but so did your cherished Lucas and Hamill.

This is getting very Haiku.

Kathleen Kennedy changed after being put in charge of LFL - from someone who was very much a background gofer producer and someone who wasn't all that creatively engaged in terms of development (more an EP or line producer) to someone more in the mold of Kevin Feige.

Feige has been pretty much universally acclaimed for his choices in both directions for the MCU IP and the creatives he's chosen. Kennedy - other than the feminist/diversity aspects (creative group, initaitives, casting) its been a mixed bag, especially creatively with TFA very widely seen as a retread, the TLJ backlash and very public Solo problems.

And I never get this "evil Disney" thing, as if Lucas "knew this" in selling SW to Disney. They are like any other major studio; you could argue the same issues with WB or the others, even if Disney has since the sale of SW grown into a super-studio capable of controlling the media (and therefore "public") perception of its products.
