He was going to tell her that he wasn't a drug dealer, but that Poe was.
Nope Finn was a janitor. In another galaxy these guys could have been heroes.

Good thoughts.. Glad you enjoyed it fully the 2nd time.

I sure did. Everything on the DSII wreckage and in Palps' Exegol Chamber at the end are some of my favorite moments in all of SW.

Did it make the OT better?? Not one bit.

It actually does for me because now I can finally let go of "what could have been" with ROTJ forevermore.

Someone said that this movie is racist because it shows Spanish-heritage Poe as a ex-drug dealer and Finn as a lazy black guy who skips out on his job while Caucasian Rey has all the powers, more than she needs and never earned them.

Do people really see that when they watch this movie?

This is the type of scrutiny Disney signed up for when they made TLJ. These are the "Stars Wars fans" Kennedy and Johnson recruited.

If Poe?s comic-book backstory of being born into the Rebellion still stands, heroes obviously have to be flawed or make bad choices.

If not, there?s no point to the Story Group and/or JJ can do WTF he wants.

A bit of simplification on my part as it did simply black-out all the rebel ships -- and left them falling to their doom... which would have destroyed them all as I stated.

Yes, a last minute and equally preposterous save came after those ships were left falling and falling and falling for a very long time.

I'm glad the only problem you could find in my post was my premature use of the word "destroy".

I didn't have a problem with that at all - it served to remind me to ask the question I'd meant to ask more than a week ago. :duff

I did want to throw in my two cents with respect to the odd cutback you'd mentioned (where Leia was asking Greg Grunberg's character to be more positive). I was thinking it wasn't a necessary time cut at all, but rather just available footage of Carrie Fisher that (awkward or not) JJ felt needed to be in the film to further establish her presence. She really had very little screen time, so the more she's seen interacting with the group, the more genuine their grief would seem on screen when she dies.

Watching the ST on an 80? in 3D sure makes me not give 2 **** about any of the complaints including my own lol

I also have another new toy a 2,900 nit quantum x beast of a tv which I will thoroughly enjoy watching TROS on.

Sometimes you just have to throw the intellects into a closet close the door on them and sit back and relax with a ridiculous loud movie.

I?m so excited with my new toy might even try watching a full 15 minutes of a PT movie on it.

Heard what you said on your video about all that... I did not know all of that... So I can see why it could help improve your enjoyment of the OT.

For me it is a story that did not need to be told.. BUT because of TROS I am glad they told it.. If for no other reason then the fact that I felt like six year old again for 2.5 hours :)

What name brand TV is it? I didn't know they still made 3D tvs?

Thank you, it's always nice when someone can understand that. :) :duff

Hell yeah. Life doesn't get much better than smiling for over two hours straight while watching a SW movie on the big screen. :D

That?s not my new toy though the 4K Quantum X is it?s hands down one of the best LED tv ever made.

What brand? LG? Or is it a Vizio?

Meh, screen time means nothing. Look at Boba Fett. She had plenty of screen time. In fact, its better if all her scenes were significant -- as they were -- and not add one that is little more than a unfunny joke (and used primarily as a time cut).

There weren't a huge number of 3D Blu-rays made anyway. I kinda gave up on the 3D thing a year or two ago, even though a couple of nature docs I saw were just mind-blowing on my 3D TV.

Why do my apostrophes turn into question marks for some posts, but not others?

Why do I still keep coming here every so often when it is the same mindless discussion each and every year? Rise of Skywalker is virtually interchangeable with Last Jedi, yet here we are, discussing and ranking endings. It?s just like 2017!

Why, why, why.

I ask the same question.....
