TCW connection to ROTS simply doesn?t work since it is connected to ROTS in real time with primary characters.

Why would Ashoka, Maul and the Mandalorians NOT be mentioned at all in ROTS not even in the military briefings in the council.

Anakin even arrives late to a briefing by ObiWan who updates Anakin that Saleucami has fallen and master Vos moved his troops to Boz Pity but no mention personally between the two of them on Ashoka, Maul or Mandalorian battle!

It is only going to get more dumb going forward with the final 2 episodes lol

At least RO was mentioned in the ANH crawl.

Yes Dalton is his badass brother who works as a bouncer at seedy roadhouses, lol.

This might sound crazy but in a universe where we have Maclunkey I am actually open for a ROTS SE treatment to match TCW!

Yes that means bringing back HC!

And possibly SLJ, Ewan is already back.

Just a few scenes to tie it all up.

Honestly it would not take much at all if you think about it.

Maybe Mando 2 will show some flashbacks as well who knows but ROTS should really be updated because as it stands now it does NOT work unfortunately I don?t say that with great joy either.

Yeah I'd definitely take an ROTS:SE too. Probably best thing we can hope for is that the Obi-Wan series shows flashbacks of Obi-Wan and Anakin that take place during ROTS and fill in some of those blanks.

If HC returns for ObiWan series there is a good chance we might see a ROTS SE.

Think about it Disney is hurting right now a ROTS SE released to theaters would definitely break 1B!

They would even use their real time set to get it done easy peasy.

10-15 minutes of extra scenes TOPS gets them 1B in theaters!

I'm guessing that since Abrams said "for reasons I don't quite understand Disney can't release the theatrical OT" that there might have been some sort of clause in the buyout contract saying no tinkering with the existing films and that they can only ever show the Lucas approved versions.

But even if they don't update ROTS the quality of these new TCW episodes is so high I'll probably just handwave away the continuity errors just like I do with all the other movies, lol.

What are people supposed to do, watch TCW Episode 9, then the first half hour of ROTS, pause the blu-ray, watch TCW Episode 10, then resume ROTS, lol. It might have been better to just fully integrate ROTS into the show and then they could have redone silly stuff like twirling Palpatine and Anakin only killing younglings.

Holy crap if TCW *does* show Anakin actually being a badass and taking out Shaak Ti and other Jedi Masters in the temple then hell yeah it'll be canon.

I still haven't bothered seeing this yet. I'm just glad this sequel trilogy is over with. Hopefully whatever they make next, movie wise, will bleach out this taste in my mouth.

Off topic, but I watched An New Hope on Disney plus last night. The 4k is good, but what the **** is Maclunkey? That Greedo scene has to be the most edited scene in history, and it only ever gets worse.

Dude, I'm in my own version of Bizarro World with SW right now. Not wanting the pure crap that was the PT to be "tarnished" by Disney changes, while being pissed that they couldn't be bothered to bring Hayden into TROS to have Anakin, Luke, and Ben close out the saga in shared scenes.

The most popular SW is a cuddly version of Yoda that goes "goo-goo ga-ga" and a friggin cartoon where a humpty-dumpty Maul is a centerpiece of the storyline.

There's an all-chick SW coming (cuz box-checking goals over having an organically-inspired story in mind is always a great idea ). There's a crossover event that will likely contradict and re-write the Jedi history from the past.

Yeah, I gotta bail out just to maintain my sanity.

See you're gonna be like me with regard to PT references in the ST and Mando. At first I was all "keep that PT **** out of my new SW!" *then watches badass Super Battle Droids destroying young Mando's village* "Okay PT is cool now, more!" lol

TCW or Mando will start tying in with the ST and you'll be forced to like it.

A Force Dyad. Pfft. WTF does that even mean?

What does a Force Dyad do? Why does the Force create it? And why can its combined "life force" be sucked out so easily?

Are they gonna start sprinkling in Force Dyads in these High Republic stories just to justify this nonsense?
