I'm not a huge fan either. I haven't had issues getting the discs out, but the box just lacks any kind of style other than a crap box. I'm probably going to do some custom box art and put them in regular Blu Ray cases.

I've seen some reviews where the cases look like slim blu ray cases but in a "book" form. I think it's a foreign version though. The version I got sucks ass compared to that. I just really don't understand why they made the set like this. :cuckoo:

I think the Australian Version is like that, and the booklet is a very regular one. I didn't like it at all, and ended up getting the two 3-in-1 packs which comes in a regular, but very solid BD case with a much nicer cover.

Therefore, why would you think it's crazy for a Tusken to be able to say the word No if they're OK with a wookie speaking a language it technically shouldn't have the ability to speak.

Besides, No is often the same in many languages.

If it's not in the movies, it didn't happen.

So now people will start up the "Blu Rays raped my childhood" sayings?

I like the USA packaging. It looks really nice with the book style with the artwork. I really dug it in the Alien Blu-Ray set and really dig it here.

It's not the most simplest of cases but if anyone has problems getting them out of the pages then it's user error and they probably have trouble with the child caps on medicine bottles.

The packaging is terrible, it's not easy to remove the disks, it was a cheaper option than using plastic....they should have gone the same route as LOTR or BTTF.

Really? The BTTF set is much worse than the Star Wars packaging. Disc on disc? You have to remove one disc to get to the other? Plus I don't know about your set but I feel like the disc is going to snap in half when trying to remove it because it is stuck on the holder in the center and has these little tabs on the bottom holding the disc on. THAT packaging is awful.

And that is what upsets me! Vader is not a hero, he's selfish and evil and puts his own desires ahead of those he cares for... I could easily say that Luke is my favorite character, so taking the emphasis away from him and lumping it onto Vader ruins the overall story in my eyes. SW, as we knew it as children, was a story of a boy and his great coming of age adventure, and all the Joseph Campbell related messages that went along with it... Lucas then created the PT which should have been about a flawed character turning truly evil. Lucas instead made Vader sympathetic character, so that begs the question, why? Well, it's pretty obvious that this franchise, that we all hold so dearly, is no longer about the story, but about merchandise and keeping the cash cow as relevant as possible so future generations keep dumping their hard earned money into merchandise.

____ you, Lucas. Jerk face.

If Han Solo isn't your favorite character, you're a girl (joking) :rotfl

I detect a joking tone to FLOSI's post there though I would nevertheless point out that Haydakin was in no way a 'sympathetic' portrayal of the character....remove the first 3 letters and that'd be more like it.

Blurays are pretty hard to scratch so this packaging alone won't scratch them.

Yeah, it's a little bit of a pain to remove the disks but I also like how they slide in and lock into place alongside the edge the edge of the cardboard.

What bugs me the most is the Art, especially the cover which is a WTF moment.

I'd take the BTTF over SW packaging, but LOTR is superior to both and would be my first option. It was a cost saving option for the "book" and I feel like the constant sliding in and out will just eventually scratch the disks.
